Christianity and Paganism
Let’s start off by clarifying two things. One, I am in no way attacking Christianity, merely pointing out things that they appropriated when they were coming up with holidays and other important days. Two, Paganism is any religious belief that is outside the major world religions, such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam etc. and is alive and well today.

If you are ever trapped in the presence of a tiger, there are two things you need to know. One, never turn your back to them; and two, never look them directly in the eyes. How do I know? I am sitting across from one now.
Mikayla ComptonPublished 3 years ago in FuturismA Tour of Zodiac Signs
I have a theory that no matter what star sign we are, we can identify with traits from all of them. To that end, let's take a tour through the Zodiac signs and then see if I identify more with that than any other.
Anno Domini 3033
News Release 2/26/2021 No other discovery in the history of mankind compares to what was found on Mars by the Perseverance Rover on February 18, 2021. Nothing compares because it was the first and only time that mankind recovered an artifact from the future. It has changed the way we perceive reality and our destiny.
A Delicate Balance
Born at 6:26 am on October 11, 1963, this put me roughly in the middle of the seventh sign of the Zodiac circle, Libra. The symbol for this astrological sign is scales. The only inanimate object symbol from the Zodiac, it can be interpreted to mean both a measurement instrument and a symbol of justice, “the scales of justice” if you will.
I'm a Virgo. (Correction, I am a Virgo)
A topic about Zodiac signs? Gosh Vocal, you really know how to turn a girl on… I mean, need I say anymore? It’s no secret that I believe in Zodiac signs. Just ask the people who know me and you’ll hear nothing but how I bore them with my ramblings on the topic.
Touch and Know
Kernelheist Library was the only twenty-four-hour library in Bittentime County outside of university property. Between Chamber’s Natural History Museum and Kardia Art Museum, Kernelheist’s marble block walls and limestone columns collected the full moon’s light, and if Olivia Tuffin had taken a second look, she might have caught a glint of mischief coming from the old building. A pale blue and milky white glimmer with flecks of glowing dust proclaimed that this night was to turn all the other nights of Olivia Tuffin, past and future, sullen by comparison. Low steps leading up to Kernelheist Library sang out the tap of Olivia’s boots as she ascended the steps with head down and mind far lost to the late hour. A political science major, Olivia prided herself in the extra hours she put towards her education. The price she paid for dyslexia, but a grand exchange it was to be both driven and creative, to see the world’s patterns and then some. There were days when Olivia’s mystified view of her own setbacks was more rooted in enchantment and other days when she wanted nothing more but to see the world as others perceived it. Tonight, Olivia cursed what she could not help and had yet to stop the flow of hot tears running down her face.
M. J. LukePublished 3 years ago in FuturismA Sagittarius, I Guess
I had to look up the spelling of Sagittarius. Was it two Gs and one T or two Ts and one G? I have never had to type out my astrology sign before. The information is something that I know despite never truly seeking it out. Zodiac symbols and the arcane knowledge of astrology have seeped into our culture like some sort of pervasive fog. I know what my astrology sign is but I don't have a clue as to what it means.

Dazed. Disoriented. The familiar feeling of being pulled into a random time zone, came rushing back like a knife to the gut. As I trudged across what felt like grass, my exo suit began adapting to the unknown surroundings. I looked at my hands, still seeing blurred double vision from the time jump, and noticed this time the suit was giving me a completely new disguise. The suits advanced fabric danced across my body, layering itself like a chameleon to give me some kind of black, tailcoat jacket? "Alexa, where am I?" I exclaimed.
Ryan CameronPublished 3 years ago in FuturismOh Yes, I'm Aquarian
My Aunt and I are both Aquarians and one of the things that she takes seriously is astrology (she loves the Astrology Zone website by Susan Miller). I’m into a lot of the spiritual things that she believes in, but astrology wasn’t one that I ever paid attention to. I’m into the oracle cards, Law of Attraction, manifesting, spirits, signs from whatever higher powers or sources you want to call them, and the energy of crystals, but it’s only been within this new year that I started to actually explore these things for myself. The farther that I travel on my journey of self discovery through my spiritual practices the more that I’m realizing how much of these traits I embody. We definitely personify the curious, open-minded, and free-spirited traits that get merged with the sign of Aquarius. We don’t stay in the box that society deems “normal” or proper. We follow our own arrows and often get called dreamers that have our heads in the clouds, but we use our intellect and creativity to shape our futures that we dream of so regularly. People usually consider us to be different, or think our ways are too idealistic but our way of thinking and believing helps us to achieve amazing things that other signs might not have considered.
The Little Black Book
The metal of the ancient car crash graveyard creaked, far above, rhythmic, slow and fading. Laying on the intrusive plants that bled through the cracks in the grey of the road, Vincent quietly shifted in the shallow crawlspace to a slip of daylight that somehow made it through the pileup unhindered. Heeding his heartbeat to steady, he opened up the little black book.

She hauled her made-from-recyclable-materials tote back up onto her coffee table and collapsed on her pre-loved couch she’d never quite been able get that smell out of. Some like to eat their feelings, but Connie spent hers instead. After That-Bitch Jeff wrote her up arriving to the office only five minutes late a post-work splurge at the bookstore was warranted. Fortunately, or unfortunately, Con could never tell which, she was broke so the splurges were limited to the secondhand industry. She liked her books to appear worn anyway, it gives the illusion of being read.
