The Tension Rises

Jenna and Dr. Campbell's relationship had taken a turn since the day she had confessed her feelings to him. They were now in a full-blown affair, meeting secretly after work or during lunch breaks. They would make love with a passion that was almost primal, their bodies entwined in a frenzy of desire.

One day, as they were meeting in Dr. Campbell's office, they heard a knock at the door. They quickly composed themselves, but their hearts were pounding with fear.

"Come in," Dr. Campbell said, trying to sound calm.

The door opened, and in walked one of Dr. Campbell's colleagues, Dr. Harris. He looked surprised to see them both in the office together.

"Hello, Anthony. Jenna," he said, nodding at each of them. "Is everything alright?"

"Yes, everything is fine," Dr. Campbell replied, trying to keep his composure.

Dr. Harris raised an eyebrow, looking from one to the other.

"I was just wondering if you had any notes from the last lecture. I seem to have misplaced mine," he said, his eyes still fixed on Jenna.

Dr. Campbell quickly pulled out a file from his desk and handed it to Dr. Harris.

"Here you go," he said, trying to sound casual.

Dr. Harris nodded and then turned to leave, but as he was walking out the door, he turned back to them.

"Anthony, I would be careful if I were you. Rumors have a way of spreading around here," he said, his eyes glancing at Jenna.

Jenna felt a pang of fear in her heart as Dr. Harris left the room. She knew that their relationship was risky, but she didn't realize just how risky it was until now.

Dr. Campbell could sense her anxiety and pulled her into his arms.

"Don't worry, Jenna. We'll be careful," he whispered in her ear.

But Jenna knew that it was easier said than done. The risk of being caught was always looming, and she didn't know how much longer she could keep up the charade.

As they left the office, Jenna felt a new sense of tension between them. She didn't know what the future held, but she knew that it was going to be a bumpy ride.
