The centre of the round had nowhere to find itself so it wished upon a moment, "I wish I may, I wish I might have roundness as a state of being and starlight as a friend. As we all know wishes sometimes come true.

Squeezing it's eyes shut tight and with a great push the round could feel a smooth surface from the inside. After a gentle consideration the thought became pronounced and the origin of the round matched a planet. It was lit from the inside so it could wave to its starry friends that were suspended all around it. This planet the centre of the round called Earth.

Well, everything should look like me and since the earth was round the very birth process is in likeness. Women populate by round bellies. Eggs of nature are round in shape or near to. Men catered to are also round in belly to make it fair. Fruit that grows on trees and vegetables that are also round, are formed whether long shaped, short, or proud and keep keep the bellies that way.

The horizon bends in arcs and either side wishes for the circumference. That the light should break the day and the night shall rest alone and bring balance to the equator. Keeping it's shape so people don't need wings too soon.

All outside this great disc in the sky, the moon, the sun, and other planets can all move in unison being round.

Why is the earth round? There was no beginning and no end at the point of existence. Being round gave a gentle solution. That way life can't fall off corners.

A bigger question might however be what came first the chicken or the egg? The cell did and it too is round.

If you don't believe any of this, ask the Platypus.
