The Final Expedition - Episode 5

Waves crashed over the bow of their ship bound for Beirut.

Malden lit a cigarette, puffed, and watched the blue waves crest across the Mediterranean. On some mid-deck, Gregor undoubtedly regaled unexpecting tourists with wild tales of Siberia.

He let out a long drag, reveling in the sunlight.

They would dock in four days and begin their expedition toward the Caucuses. Like Jesus wandering through the desert, Jacob could only hope for illumination, and not deception.
