Our altitude will soon reach 50,000 feet (don’t ask us to go metric on that one, ha ha), and we will arrive at our destination late in the evening of Friday the 13th. Many of you with a superstitious nature might find that an uncomfortable fact, but please appreciate that we are pilots and handle this sort of thing all the time. No worries!

Strange Easter
A loud thump echoed throughout the quiet household. A small tabby cat twitches its ear as it shifts its position on a small couch. The tabby opened one green eye to scan the room. The tabby’s eye stopped on a big white fur ball in the corner of the room. The tabby’s nose twitched as it slowly opened its other eye. The fur ball twitched as it slowly twisted its body sideways to turn around. The tabby shivered as the hairs on its back began to slowly climb as its tail flicked dangerously. The fur ball twisted sideways to reveal two large snow white bunny ears. The tabby blinked once before jumping up from its loafed position. The tabby arched it back as the remaining hair on the tabby’s spine shot up, its green eyes dilating to small dangerous slits as it bared its white sharp teeth. The bunny sniffed as it looked at the tabby cat, its eyes scanning it. The bunny huffed as it hopped forward towards the kitchen. The tabby let out a low hiss as its eyes tracked the bunny. The tabby slowly crossed the couch, its eyes not leaving the bunny as it slowly hopped down to land with a soft thud on the hardwood floor. The bunny glanced sideways to look at the tabby before beginning to hop back towards the kitchen. “Oi bunny tail what are you doing here?” The tabby hissed through clenched teeth as it slowly began to pad after the bunny. The bunny shook its tail as it continued hopping. The bunny slowly turned the corner into the kitchen. The tabby hesitated as the bunnies' tail disappeared behind the corner. The tabby grumbled as it slowly peaked its head around the corner. Around the corner in the middle of the kitchen was a large basket. The bunny was leaning on the basket on two feet, its snow white tail wagging back and forth. The tabby linked once before shifting its body weight downward towards the hard wood floor to stalk towards the bunny. The bunny’s ears twitched as it moved its paws inside the basket searching for something. “Excuse me little kitty, can you not try and kill me? I have important work to do.” The tabby felt its jaw go slack as it paused in its stalking. The tabby shook its head after a few moments before warily lifting its body weight up, it made its way towards the bunny. The tabby sat down near the basket but not too close, keeping its eyes on the bunny. The tabby sighed before bringing its striped tail to lay over its front paws. The bunny slowly laid its front paws on the hard floor with a small carrot in its mouth. The tabby cocked its head slightly to the side and blinked at the bunny in confusion. “Why do you have a carrot bunny tail?” The bunny turned its head towards the tabby making direct eye contact. “I’s fer me jib.” (It's for my job) The bunny answered, though it was muffled by the carrot. Without another word the bunny broke eye contact and thumped its foot twice on the floor. The tabby hissed as a small light enclosed the whole kitchen. The light faded in a matter of seconds, the tabby blinked a couple times to regain its night vision. The tabby’s vision slowly came back and when it looked for the bunny it was gone and so was the basket. The tabby jumped to its feet and clumsily sprinted into the living room. The tabby’s eyes scanned the whole living room for the bunny but there was none. The tabby jumped up onto a side table to get a better look but its paw hit something. The tabby looked down to see a pink glittery egg. The tabby sighed as it lifted its head once more to scan the area only for its eyes to quickly leap around the room to see more eggs. “What in the world?!” The tabby meowed as it laid down on the side table pushing the pink egg off the table with a satisfying crack. The tabby laid its head down on its paw placing its striped tail over its nose. “Damn bunny…” The tabby grumbled as it drifted back onto sleep.
