I'll set the scene for you.

It's the 80's on Hillman College campus. We're in the Pit...of hell. Just kidding, it's actually just the campus cafeteria. It is the start of a fresh new year. The hub is buzzing with bored Seniors; counting down the days til graduation. Already stressed out Juniors; who still have yet to pick a major and a career path. Lazy yet motivated sophomores who foolishly think there is plenty of time for the rest of life. Then there are the overly zealous and terrified Freshman. Fear leaves a special twinkle in their eyes.

Enter Wayne Dwayne. Yes, that is his name. And this is his face.

"These glasses are for seeing and aesthetic."

Wayne surveys the room. He's checking out of all the girls because he's decided to be THAT guy. Little does he know everyone other guy in the room has decided to be THAT guy too. Wayne sees is main man Don sitting at a table chatting up a fellow Freshman. She is completely uninterested but that doesn't stop Don. He's gonna keep talking anyway. So the young lady finally decides to get up and leave the table.

"I see you still have the magic touch." Wayne snickers.

"She'll call." Don says. He's clearly in denial.

"How long does it take to get a burger around here?" Wayne asks craning his neck around the crowd of people who are currently lined up to give orders at the window. A loud crash comes from the kitchen.

"OH LORD NO!" A elderly man yells. That's Mr....uh Chains. Yea that's it. That's the name. Another crash is heard. Wayne stands now to join the line. "Seems like the old guy could use some help back there." Wayne says.

Enter Reese Kim. She is bright and beautiful. This is her face.

"I'm smarter than most people. Be happy for me."

Reese Kim falls in line behind Wayne. She carries her books. She's registered, and has turned in a least four assignments already. Classes haven't even started yet, but Sis is not here to play games. Another crash is heard from the kitchen. Suddenly, Mr. Chains comes charging out of the kitchen with an 'help wanted" sign. This makes the crowd reposition to make a way for him and causes Wayne to bump into Reese. Her books fall to the floor. And in true meet cute sitcom fashion they both reach down to gather them up.

Wayne notices the weight of the books. "Whoa, this is the biggest Biology book I've ever seen."

"Yea, I'm pre-med so I just want to get a jump on things." Reese says.

"If they had books this big in the Engineering department I'd run for the hills." Wayne motions in an opposite direction.

Mr.Chains yells into the crowd. "Does anybody know how to flip a burger?" A few people raise their hands.

"Well looks like I better get my burger somewhere else at least for today. Thanks for the help." Reese goes to grab the book from Wayne. He steps back. "How about I hold onto this for you while we walk. I think I saw another spot across campus." He says with a Wayne Dwayne smile. Reese smiles back as she pulls out a campus map.

"I don't see another cafeteria." Reese says looking intensely at the map.

"I'm sure we'll find it." Wayne says. She looks at him now.

"I'm Reese." She says flashing a mega watt smile.

"Wayne." He says. They shake hands. Another loud crash is heard from the kitchen. Everyone looks to the sound. Wayne nods towards the door and Reese leads the way out of the crowded cafeteria.

Cue the intro music.

NOW the show can really BEGIN.
