Hey love, I hope your day has been nothing short of amazing so far.

As you know things in our world are changing fast everyday.Everytime you turn on the television there is a new restaurant introducing a new vegan or vegetarian option to their menu. Based on a sampling of about 11,000 adults, aged 17 plus, only two percent of Americans are vegetarian. Only one-in-four vegetarians — or 0.5% of the USA adult population — is vegan. Only half of one percent of the USA population — or 1.62 million of us — is vegan. So these are not HUGE numbers but they grow fast everyday!

Making the decision to go vegan or vegetarian can be scary but it doesn't have to be that way! Take baby steps and have fun! This recipe will blow your mind! You will not believe how much this resembles the REAL THING! I am about 90% vegan. That 10% comes from creamer and cheese, I'm trying! This recipe is a easy substitution since all ingredients are already VEGAN! We just need to substitute the protein, let's get started!

Wheat gluten

Is made from gluten, which is the main protein of wheat. It is made by washing wheat flour dough with water until all the starch granules have been removed, leaving the sticky insoluble gluten as an elastic mass, which is then cooked before being eaten. Wikipedia

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cup Vital Wheat Gluten

2 cup Oat Milk (plant based milk)

1/2 cup Soy Sauce

1 tsp Sriracha

1 tbs Crushed Garlic

1/3 cup Dried shiitake mushrooms

2 cups Diced Read Onion

1 Sliced Portabella Mushrooms

Fresh or dried Rosemary

1 tbs Garlic Powder, Garlic Salt, Lemon Pepper, Black Pepper, Smoked Peperika, Cumin

Fresh or Frozen String Beans

Mix all wet ingredients well.

Add Dry ingredients slowly.

Knead for at least 2 minutes and sit aside for 5 minutes.

Fill up a pot half way and add Rosemary, Dried Mushrooms and Garlic and bring to a boil. While your waiting behind slicing your ”Chicken” with kitchen shears. Be sure to get the slices as thin as possible because the ”chicken” will swell as it boils. Add ”chicken” slowing. Be careful, you dont want the slices to stick together. Boil for at least 45 minutes but a hour would be perfection. Drain.

Heat a none-stick skillet and add your vegan ”chicken” cook on both sides until golden brown then add your veggies!

In the midst of this Rice was being prepared. You all know do not like the use of fermented rice for hair growth. This rice was soaked over and over and rinsed until the water was clear. My family only eats rice about twice a month if that. Rice water and RICE are two different things!

You can make your own gravy at home too! Gravy is pretty easy. Simply heat up oil or vegan butter. Add about 2 1/2 tbs of flour and stir until a thick paste forms. Once the paste forms slowly add water or milk until your gravy thickens and season to taste!

Now mix your gravy with the chicken and pour it over rice! Now we are all done!!!! This was so good! Try it out and let me know what you think!!! I can not wait to hear from you! If you make this DONT forget to take a picture or video and tag me on Instagram @_IAMCYNDOLL_
