1. The Nut Job - 2014

Surly, a mischievous squirrel, and his sidekick, Buddy, are known for their thieving ways and reside in Liberty Park. However, their actions have resulted in them being banished from the park, along with a group of urban animals, led by Raccoon and his assistant cardinal, who are running low on food supplies for winter.

Andie, a compassionate squirrel, and Grayson, a glory hogging squirrel, compete with Surly and Buddy to scavenge for food. Inadvertently, their actions lead to the destruction of the animals' food supply, resulting in Surly's banishment from the park. Surly and Buddy soon find a criminal hideout used by Lucky, Fingers, their boss, Percy "King" Dimpleweed, and Knuckles, who plan to break through the wall and replace the bank's cash with nuts.

Meanwhile, Andie and Grayson are sent to the city to find food, but they get separated when a street rat approaches them. Surly unwittingly befriends Precious, Fingers' pug, and threatens her with a whistle. Andie informs the park community of the plan, and Raccoon reluctantly goes along with it. However, Surly learns that Raccoon's policy is to control the food supply in order to remain as the park community's leader and plans on sabotaging the heist to do so.

Surly is later captured by King, but he gets freed by Lana, who learns that King hasn't changed his criminal ways. After fending off street rats who work for Raccoon, Surly and Grayson chase the criminal gang's getaway truck. Surly fights off Cardinal and tosses him straight into a fancy cat show, and Mole defects from Raccoon and reveals the truth to the animals.

King and Knuckles use the dynamite inside the empty truck to blow up a police barricade at a dam, but the police shoot the tire on the truck, causing it to fall from the dam and explode. Surly makes it to a log, but finds out that Raccoon, King, and Knuckles survived the explosion. Raccoon tries to kill Surly, but the nuts and water's weight begins to break the log and push it over a waterfall. The animals arrive to rescue Surly, but he decides to be selfless and lets himself fall into the waterfall with Raccoon.

The nuts and flood make their way to Liberty Park, where King and his associates are arrested. Andie and Buddy mourn over Surly, but he wakes up and hugs Buddy. Afterward, Andie embraces him and suggests telling the other animals of his heroism. Surly declines but gains a willingness to work with others, and he goes into the city with Buddy, allowing Grayson to take credit for the nuts making it to the park. In a mid-credits scene, Raccoon and Cardinal are revealed to still be alive and are plotting revenge while stuck on a buoy in the ocean, surrounded by hungry sharks circling them.

2. Wonder Park - 2019

June Bailey, a young girl with a vivid imagination, co-creates a magical amusement park called Wonderland with her mother. The park is run by a group of fun-loving animals that include Boomer, a friendly blue bear, Greta, a wild boar, the beaver brothers Gus and Cooper, Steve, a safety manager porcupine, and Peanut, a chimpanzee who possesses a unique ability to create rides by listening to June's mother's voice.

As June's mother falls ill and is sent away for treatment, June starts feeling alienated from Wonderland and destroys the blueprints of the park in frustration. Her father then sends her to a math camp, but she misinterprets a note from him as a cry for help and returns home to find a broken-down version of Wonderland being surrounded by the Darkness, a cloud-like entity.

In her attempt to fix the park's Clockwork Swings mechanism, June and the animals face an attack from Chimpanzombies, the park's former plush toys that are now controlled by the Darkness. During the chaos, June gets separated from the animals and finds herself in Zero-G Land, where she discovers that the Darkness was created by her own cynicism towards her mother's illness. June realizes that she must save the park and reunite with her animal friends.

After confessing to the animals that she is responsible for the Darkness, they selfishly abandon her. However, June takes the initiative and fixes one of the attractions to catch up with the animals and make it to Clockwork Swings. She also explains why she created the Darkness, and with the animals realizing that she wants to help, they reform the team to save Peanut and Wonderland.

The gang finally finds the Chimpanzombies taking Peanut to be sucked into the Darkness, but they fight back while June rushes to save Peanut by jumping into the void. June promises Peanut that she will provide the voice for his imagination and convinces him to make a slide out of bendy straws to escape. While riding the slide to avoid the Chimpanzombies, June notices that Clockwork Swings is attached to her name written in cursive, just like the blueprint piece. With Peanut's help, they get Clockwork Swings back up and running, clearing up Wonderland from the Darkness.

June returns home to find her mother now cured and together, they set up a Wonderland in their backyard. June shares the story of Wonderland with other kids, inspiring them to be imaginative like her. The story of June's journey to save Wonderland teaches us the power of imagination and how it can help us overcome any challenge.

During the day, while Katie is away at work, Max socializes with the other pets in the building - Chloe, the tabby cat; Mel, the pug; Buddy, the dachshund; and Sweet Pea, the budgerigar. One day, Katie brings home a mongrel named Duke, which makes Max envious. But Duke does not appreciate Max's attitude and tries to abandon him in an alley. Unfortunately, both of them get attacked by cats and are caught by Animal Control after their collars are removed by Sphynx cat Ozone.

Duke is scared that he might be killed if he goes back to the pound. When Gidget, a white Pomeranian in love with Max, discovers that he is missing, she sets out to find him. Snowball, a white rabbit and leader of the Flushed Pets, a gang of drain-dwelling animals, rescues Max and Duke. The Flushed Pets hate humans because they were mistreated and rejected by their owners. Max and Duke pretend to hate humans, and Snowball invites them to join his gang.

However, before Max and Duke can prove their loyalty through a viper bite, Snowball realizes they are domesticated, and they escape from the drains. Snowball vows to seek revenge and leads the Flushed Pets after them. Meanwhile, Gidget teams up with a red-tailed hawk named Tiberius, and they set out to find Max. Along the way, they encounter Pops, an old Basset Hound who helps them find Max. Later on, Gidget and her team come across Snowball, who vows to kill them. As the rest of Gidget's team flees, Norman is captured.

4. Monster House - 2006

In 1983, a 12-year-old boy named DJ Walters, living across the street from the spooky Nebbercracker house, witnesses the house's elderly owner, Horace Nebbercracker, confiscating a little girl's tricycle and scaring her away. DJ has observed similar strange happenings at the house before, and the same day, his parents leave him in the care of his teenage babysitter Zee, who brings along her intoxicated boyfriend, Bones. Bones recounts the story of how Nebbercracker once stole his kite, and also spreads rumors that Nebbercracker ate his own wife. Later that day, while DJ and his friend Chowder try to retrieve a basketball that landed on Nebbercracker's lawn, the old man suffers a heart attack and is taken away by an ambulance.

Things take a terrifying turn when Bones discovers his lost kite on Nebbercracker's porch, and tries to retrieve it, only to be swallowed by the seemingly sentient house. DJ and Chowder investigate the house and are attacked by it. They manage to save a young girl named Jenny Bennett, who was selling Halloween candy, from being consumed by the house. The boys seek help from Reginald "Skull" Skulinski, a supernatural expert, who tells them that the house must be a rare monster created by the merging of a human ghost and a man-made object. He advises them to destroy the house's heart to put it to sleep.

As the trio constructs a dummy child and offers it to the house to eat, hoping to locate its heart, police officers Landers and Lister arrive at the scene, leading to a chaotic turn of events. The house eats everyone present, except the trio, and the officers disappear. The children explore the sleeping house's basement and discover a shrine to Nebbercracker's wife, Constance the Giantess, whose skeleton is encased in cement. The house awakens and attacks them, but they manage to make it vomit them outside.

After Nebbercracker returns from the hospital, he reveals that Constance's ghost is the one possessing the house. He explains that when he fell in love with her, she was living in a circus freak show, where she was tormented by people throwing things at her. He helped her escape and married her, but on Halloween, some children threw eggs at her, causing her to grab an axe and stumble to her death into the house's unfinished basement, which was later coated in cement. Nebbercracker adopted a hostile demeanor to protect innocent people from her ghost, which had merged with the house.

DJ convinces Nebbercracker to let go of Constance, but this angers her, causing her to chase the children. Nebbercracker tries to comfort her, but when she realizes that he intends to blow her up with dynamite, she attacks him. The children manage to lure her into a pit using an excavator, but she falls and survives. Jenny lights the dynamite, and DJ drops it into the chimney, destroying the house. Constance's ghost dances with her husband before ascending to the afterlife. Bones emerges from the basement, carrying his kite, and the trio and Nebbercracker return all the confiscated items to the house's still-intact basement. Bones discovers that Zee is dating Skull, and everyone who was consumed by the house escapes unharmed.
