Deep Fried Oreos

It can be a hell of a job to come up with an idea for dinner tonight. Sometimes it is even more difficult to come up with something sweet for after dinner. But we all love to have a nice snack from time to time. Or maybe your friends are going to visit and you don’t know what to make. Well today we are going to help you decide.

We are going to give you the recipe for Deep Fried Oreos. Yes, that is right, Oreos. You might think why you should deep fry your Oreos if you can just eat them plain. The trick is that it is something different, something your family and friends don’t expect. And the best thing about it is that it is very easy to make and you don’t need any cooking skills.

Deep Fried Oreos – Getting the ingredients

For every recipe you need special ingredients to make it work. They are not that special though, as you can get everything you need for deep fried Oreos at your local supermarket if you don’t already have the ingredients in your house. We also assume that you are in the possession of a deep fryer.

If you don’t then there are other recipes you can look up that do not require using a deep fryer. Let’s get started! What you need is a pack of Oreo cookies. Well, or two, or even more, if you are cooking for a lot of people. Make sure you have at least two eggs and some kind of pancake flower.

Regular flower would also work although the taste will be a little different. Do not forget to buy milk and oil for your deep fryer. As last, but not least, you need a bowl and a mixer.

Deep Fried Oreos – The fun is now starting

Once you’ve collected all the ingredients and all the equipment you need, it is time to get started. To save yourself time later, plug in the deep fryer and let it pre-heat till about 375 F. Grab the bowl and put in the pancake flower or any other similar product. Crack the two eggs and put them in the bowl.

Now add a little oil and 1 ½ cups of milk. Mix the ingredients together using a mixer or any sort of device that gets the job done. Open your Oreo pack and dip all the Oreo cookies in the mixture. Assuming that your deep fryer has warmed up by now, put the dipped Oreo cookies in the deep fryer.

The Deep Fried Oreos are done in an instance so you should pay close attention. It is also advised to turn the Oreos around because they are floating in the oil. Wait until they’ve reached a brown color and take them out.

If you love deep-fried Oreos for its perfect amalgamation of the fine crunchiness on the outside and the mouth-melting oreo burstings from inside then you must know that this happens the best with a pancake mix only. If you’ll add some other deep-frying batter to fry these cookies then you might miss this inch-perfect balance of crispiness blended with softness. Either the crackles will exceed or the fluffiness. And there’s no scope for a dab of imbalance when it comes to an enriching snacking.

Deep Fried Oreos – Done!

Congratulations! If everything went well you have now made deep fried Oreos. They will surprise your friends and family once they come over. It is nice to have a change in snacks every once in a while. You should preferably serve the cookies warm although people also eat them cold. No not however, warm them up in your microwave because the taste will be completely different. We hope you enjoy your new recipe!
