Vacation Eats
Vacation Eats: Colorado Green Chili Spring, summer, autumn, and winter, there is nothing like a bowl of Colorado Green Chili. The first time I tried green chili was in Aurora, Colorado. My then-boyfriend, now husband, took me to his favorite Mexican restaurant for dinner. Mexican food is not my thing. I came from a state where Mexican food meant Taco Bell. I never liked Taco Bell, and since that was my view of Mexican food, I was not the least bit happy. He just told me to trust him. Do you trust a man you have just met, in a state you have never been to? Maybe not. But I did.

My Honest Goodles Review
As a macaroni and cheese enthusiast, I have to cope with two challenges in life: I live on a small income, and I'm not much of a cook. This puts me in a position where I'm on the lookout for boxed mac and cheese that's warm and gooey but not too expensive. I can tolerate store-brand pasta once in a while, but cheddar-flavored dust just doesn't compare to noodles drenched in a melty, cheesy sauce.

My Spring 2026 Starbucks Menu Review
As we move into mid-spring, Starbucks has added more drinks to the menu: Iced Mango Cream Chai, Iced Mango Cream Matcha, Iced Ube Coconut Cream Shaken Espresso and a selection of new Energy Refreshers, including the Pink Energy Drink. I love bright, refreshing flavors, and with temperatures heating up, this seemed like the perfect time to stop by Starbucks and grab a cold beverage.

The 10 Best Foods To Eat During Passover
Every year in early Spring, Jewish communities around the world celebrate Passover (Pesach) - the 8-day celebration of the biblical story of Exodus, where the Jews were liberated from slavery in Egypt. The celebration not only commemorates the liberation, but it gets its name from the final plague, where the angel of death "passed over" the homes of Jews sparing their firstborns.

My Starbucks Early Spring 2026 Menu Review
Late winter brought a flood of early spring ingredients to Starbucks' menu: a new chai recipe, coconut foam and syrup, and the return of lavender cold foam for your chai and lattes. The Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato looked particularly intriguing, and since I still had some gift card money left over from Christmas, I decided to review a few drinks and the limited-edition Frog Cake Pop.

Mile-High Noodles: The Best Ramen Spots in Denver
For some reason, there has been a lot of chatter about Denver's food scene online - or rather, the perceived lack thereof. As a Colorado native, I will admit that there are pockets of Denver that lack in options and there are a lot of breweries clouding the restaurant scene, but you can find good food in Denver. I've traveled around the United States quite a bit and honestly I think Denver has some great options, especially when it comes to Asian cuisine. You just need to know where to look.
