My Glorious time as a vegetarian
every reason to go vegetarian again

I am sitting here thinking of my time I spent as a vegetarian and I must confess those times have to be among the best times of my life. I became a vegetarian for ethical reasons but for unfortunately for health reasons I had to stop and also because I wasn’t doing it right but I tell you if I could be a vegetarian again I would in a heartbeat. I have an investment and a share and stock in the plant based food company called Beyond Meat and I had a wait to get this stock but by the grace of God I finally was able to get it. Beyond Meat is fantastic and I am glad that it exists because even vegetarians miss eating certain things so why not create it as plant based.
In a previous article I talked about Karma Cookbook by Boy George, a book that I was fortunate to get and I love that book. In fact I had it in the kitchen cookbook collection. Along time ago I used to go to this vegan restaurant that remains till this day one of my favourite restaurants called “Conscious Fork”. I would go there a lot it was my kind of restaurant. One of my favorite things to order from the menu was the meatless version of the Reuben as well as a text mex meatless bowl and I cannot remember the last time since I was there but I think of the place fondly. I always loved the vibe of the restaurant. It had art hanging on the wall that one could enjoy as they dined and also if you wanted to you also had the chance to purchase the paintings on the wall if you wanted to and you could borrow books I happened to borrow the Jd Salinger classic “Catcher in the Rye”.
When I was in highschool I refused to dissect in science class for the same reasons and I don’t wear fur or leather and also I got rid of this rabbits foot I had when I found out and looked at it closely. There was a signature drink offered by the restaurant it was nutritious and it tasted like funeral flowers and I enjoyed it. Once there was a brand of water that came from elm trees and I have to confess that drinking water that came from a tree is healthy and also good for you too and as I recall the name of the water was “Assana”. I was proud to be a vegetarian and also I am proud that I was a vegetarian also. Luckily, at the local grocery stores had a section for vegetarians and I used to go there and buy I would buy from the brand “Amy’s Kitchen” which is another brand that is meatless and some of my favorite things to buy were the Indian dishes and Latin dishes too. Though Amy’s Kitchen was the first time I ever had Indian food and I liked it. Actually, in the place where I live “Amy’s Kitchen” was set to come in and set up shop it would have been great but unfortunately the plan had fallen through.
Even though at the moment I am not a vegetarian there are much animal products that I refuse to eat and I am proud to tell you the reader this. I only made it to vegetarian level but I was never able to reach vegan status. I admire and respect those who are actually able to be a vegan it takes guts to do it. d
