Two Weeks Plant Based and 7.6 pounds gone
Weight: 297.6 (7.6 pounds from start at 305.2) Blood Pressure: 139/93 So, in my first two weeks I have lost 7.6 pounds by going plant based. I need to celebrate that as I am trying to wither my lipid-filled water balloons to nothing! D. Thea Baldrick, otherwise known as Denise to me, wrote in her “Fat-Cell 1: What is a Fat Cell” article that we are suffering from the medical condition known as Metabolic syndrome (being too fat for your own good as she says). An Introduction to Chinese Breakfast. Top Story - August 2022.
Of the many adjustments Americans must make when living abroad, one of the biggest is getting used to a very different diet, and the biggest differences in diet often come at breakfast. Togetherness
This is not the first time I think about the people I am with, rather than working in the steaming hot kitchen. As easy as it would be to cook with someone, more often this activity is reserved for one. The chef, the owner, the host, the mother. A single unit always rules the hearth of the house and maybe there are no other ways but for the one to take on the responsibility. I had seen many people owning to the expectations of the good cooks, chefs, owners, and mothers but hardly ever at the same time. Last week I was invited not to be a stranger, take charge, help, to play a part.

Nothing Better Than Mama’s Chicken Noodle Soup
When I was a kid, I had a terrible immune system. I would always get sick. At least once a year i would have something terrible - mostly bronchitis and pneumonia. And let's just say, I hated (and still do) canned chicken noodle soup.
