A picture I took of the apple pie I made

Check out this simple and easy-to-make apple pie recipe that you will be for sure to love and crave for many seasons to come. It is just truly sumptuous. It takes not much time to get prepared. Plus all the ingredients used to make it are just existing in your kitchen already so you don't require to rush to the market to get anything. There's no need to go much fancy for it just use the items that you have and you love. You can change the flavor according to your choices and tastes. This is a perfect dessert to serve after your meal.

It just doesn't last long in my refrigerator. If you make it once, you'll want to make it every day. As you know that nearly every other person is a true lover of desserts like brownies cakes pies icecreams cookies and much more. So I am hundred percent sure that if you make it on any occasion everybody will surely gonna love it.

When I made it for the first time, I felt maybe no one will eat it, nobody will like it, but believe me, when I prepared it and put it in the fridge, it vanished within half an hour, which means that everyone liked it so much. My younger brothers just started ordering me the next day to make it again.

INGREDIENTS

•For the shortcrust pastry:

1 cup flour

1/3 cup powdered sugar

100g softened butter

A pinch of salt

•For caramelized applesauce:

2-3 diced apples

1/3 cup sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla essence

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp cinnamon powder

A pinch of salt

1 tbsp corn flour

1-2 tbsp water

•For the chocolate sauce:

100g milk chocolate

50ml heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS

In a food processor, add 1 cup flour, 1/3 cup powdered sugar, 100g unsalted softened butter, and a pinch of salt, and mix until the mixture is crumbly. Now knead it till smooth dough. Wrap it in a cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

While the dough is cooling prepare the caramelized applesauce. In a saucepan add 20g unsalted butter and let it melt. Then add 2-3 peeled and diced apples, 1/3 sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon powder, 1/2 1 tsp lemon juice, and a pinch of salt, and cook on medium heat until the apples are softened. Then dissolve 1 tbsp corn flour in 2-3 tbsp water. Add the corn flour mix to the sauce and cook until it thickens and reaches the desired consistency. Now turn off the flame and let the sauce cool down in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Now take out the dough, sprinkle some flour and roll out with the help of a rolling pin. Grease the baking tray with cooking oil or butter, set the dough, and cut the edges using a knife. Prick it with a toothpick or fork and bake at 180 C for 8-10 minutes.

For making the chocolate sauce put a double boiler on low flame. Melt 100g milk chocolate now turn off the flame and add heavy cream it the melted chocolate, mix and don’t whisk or overmix to avoid the whipped cream texture. Let it cool to room temperature.

Now time to bake the crust again with apples. Pour the caramelized applesauce on the crust and spread it evenly on each side. Bake it at the same temperature (180 C ) for 8-10 minutes.

Let it cool completely at room temperature. Now pour the chocolate sauce on the apple pie and let it sit for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Cut it into equal squares or triangles. Put a scoop of vanilla ice cream before serving. Garnish with some chocolate chips, chocolate, or caramel sauce.

Enjoy!
