The Great Archipelagos Elle Kacey 10/09/2020 CHAPTER ONE - Seneca Portals Sunday afternoon, Sharice stood with her family around the oversized oatmeal colored, breakfast nook in the kitchen. Their kitchen is colorfully decorated as it has been passed down from father to daughter, mother to son, vice versa for centuries. Each ancestor has added something to the beautiful interiors and exteriors of each room of the greyscale home, and it shows off how incredibly, unique, and well-maintained this family has been since, the Nineteen-Nineties. Next, is Sharice whom, will inherit her family home. Sharice, is the youngest of the two siblings Mr. and Mrs. Bonfils. She does not possess ordinary looks, she is beautiful, her skin glows a pale yellow, her eyes smile generally, cheerful with a hint of mystery and intelligence behind them and twinkle of blue-green pigment somehow, matches her wavy strawberry blonde locks. The time was nearing Two O’clock, this was the beginning of a twisted future yet, somehow unexplained past that entwined them. Mr. Bonfils took the red ticket’s envelope off the counter, it felt smooth and yet heavy to him and immediately, made him feel ready to go. The Bonfils, are destined for some far-off Island with an interesting name “Seneca Islas”. This is a huge distance and very, exciting trip for the family as, they never have been out of Ontario. Somehow, making it through life always staying to their selves, working, living, being peaceful neighbors. Thus, their story is about to change and secrets of the family’s past on the daughters, fathers’ side will come to clarify they are not normal people in fact, they are distant offspring of a very powerful wizard.

2020, The Year Known as the abolishment of Two-Income Households
My family and I reside in Westchester County, New York. One of the most expensive counties in the United States has never been easy for any middle-class family such as mine. Most households rely on both parents working full time so they can provide for their families. In recent years, more than half of American households with two parents are working full time have doubled from 1960-2000. Most families have found that there must be a balance of household chores between both parents due to both being employed full time. You won’t find many households that a wife had hot coffee and breakfast along with the mornings’ newspaper waiting for you at the kitchen table before you left for work. Then her day would consist of tending to the children and household chores. By the time her husband came home after a hard day’s work and welcomed home with a delicious home-cooked meal.
