Expertly directed by Gina Gershon and produced by Jeffrey and Robert Tinnell, this heart-pounding thriller is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. Written by Conor Allyn and Benjamin Anderson, the film boasts a runtime of 1 hour and 30 minutes, packed with twists, turns, and unexpected surprises. Get ready for a wild ride that will leave you breathless.

In this captivating tale, a family's dynamic takes a twisted turn as they indulge in a harmless tradition of poking fun at each other. However, things soon take a dark turn when Denny, the father, takes the teasing too far and his words strike a nerve with his daughter, Val.

In a fit of anger, Val storms out of the house and Denny follows her, leaving the rest of the family behind. Once outside, Denny hands Val the car keys and instructs her to go home, while he heads back inside with ill intentions towards the other family members.

As Denny's anger reaches boiling point, Val's intuition tells her something is wrong, and she rushes back inside just in time to stop Denny from causing any harm. However, the damage has already been done, and the police are now hot on their trail, determined to bring Denny to justice.

As the authorities close in, Denny's desperation grows, and he begins to act erratically, with Val trying to reason with him and convince him to surrender peacefully. Eventually, Val's words get through to him, and he puts down his weapon, exits the car, and cooperates with the police.

Val and Mark, her husband, are reunited, and they share a touching moment as Mark wears the watch that Val gifted him for Christmas. Meanwhile, Cherie, Denny's wife, visits him in prison, seeking answers as to why he killed her mother, but he can't provide a satisfactory explanation.

The movie ends on a seemingly joyful note as children sing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas," but a bizarre scene follows, with Denny in a jail cell, imagining a tropical vacation before being abducted by aliens.

Overall, the movie showcases how family dynamics can take unexpected turns, and how words and actions can have dire consequences. The ending is left up to interpretation, leaving viewers to ponder what lies ahead for the family and for Denny. Directed with skill and nuance, this movie will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish
