Below the sharp, snow-covered peaks, an ocean of golden barely bent and ripples traveled among the fields. A dusty veil helped make those labyrinths of rock, ice, and snow seem a distant world. Up in the thin air of the Himalayan mountains, work was tedious and the yield was difficult, but at times like these, it was a better life, even in the shadow of Kokushinsan.

Bridgerton is not Regency Romance. It's a bunch of modern Rom-Com tropes in Regency Cosplay. Other than over-reliance on the Compromise!Plot, the characters and behaviours bear no resemblence.

Kayleigh Fraser â¨Published 10 months ago in CritiqueA Farewell to Arms and A Book to Throw
A Farewell to Arms is an iconic piece, often on many top ten charts of classics. Hemingwayâs prose is excellent, and the majority of the book is exquisite. His ending reminds us all that life is not fair. Even worse, the ending ruins an enduring book that is otherwise marvelous.

Old man. Grump. Bloody youngens these days. Society is doomed. This bloody cat again. Why canât everyone just leave me alone? Can I just die in peace already? This food is pretty good. Catâs alright too, I guess. Suppose I have to save the neighbourhood myself. Life ainât so bad.
Renessa NortonPublished 10 months ago in CritiqueSleeping Beauties by Owen and Stephen King
I used to be a major Stephen King fan, but this book destroyed any enjoyment his work gave me. It is dull and drawn out way too long for no more of a plot than it has. Plus, the actions of the people are unbelievable. I donât recommend this book.
