Anniversary
This is not for a Vocal+ entry that is going on, but my view of this word 'anniversary'. An anniversary is a chance to say to people congratulations on many accounts as in being married many years or the sadness of losing someone special or just a birthday anniversary of someone lost. It is a time to remember some occasion.

Soap Opera
Anyone out still watch the daytime dramas? To be honest I still watch short snippets of the ones still on television. My favorite back in high school was General Hospital and even today I still watch maybe at the most a half hour or so. My other favorites which are no longer on were All My Children, One Life to Live and Ryan's Hope. When I was little there were a few that I watched with my mom for I was not in school yet and they were 'The Secret Storm' and 'Love of Life' and I think 'The Doctors' and 'Days of Our Lives' which is still on today. They covered so many issues from drugs, sex, divorce and many other issues to numerous to list here. The characters were like family at times even though at various times in the stories all you wanted to do was slap them silly for some very stupid acts.

The New Heaven and the New Earth
Anyone out there that believe in the idea of the New Heaven and the New Earth. I have read in a spiritual newsletter that this is when Heaven comes down to Earth. There will be no pain of any kind. There will be plenty of food and water. It will be a chance to catch up with family members that have gone before.

Stall Buddies
Here is an old children's chapter book entitled 'Stall Buddies' written by Penny Pollock and illustrated by Gail Owens. This is the story of a young horse by the name of Scarlett who was bought by a horse trainer Bud the owner of the farm. Scarlett is to be a horse racer but must figure out a way so that she will not be afraid of every little thing. Scarlett makes friends at her new home, but does she really fit. Gail Owens' illustrations are like pencil sketches but well-detailed and does tell the story as well as Penny's words.

Imagine Love A Novel
Katherine Stone has written a romance novel entitled 'Imagine Love' A Novel. This is a story that travels from the United States to Great Britain back to the United States. The story of Cole and Claire and a relationship with music that is personal and professional. The story starts with Cole taking his baby brother to safety but telling everyone that he died. The other story that is interrelated to Cole and Claire's story is the one that deals with Lady Sarah Pembroke and the relationship with a Jack Dalton who will have a surprise for all. This is a story that mainly takes place around Christmas Eve and New Years Day. Katherine Stone is quite descriptive in her characters, settings in the story and plot dealings that will have you reading to see what happens to a country singer of love songs to his cherished girlfriend and even his two-year-old brother he said died.

The Time Traveler Who Visited the Future. AI-Generated.
One of the most intriguing stories in the realm of the unexplained is that of a man named Al Bielek, who claimed to have experienced time travel and witnessed the future. His tale, often met with skepticism and fascination, intertwines with conspiracy theories and secret government experiments, painting a picture of a world that seems to straddle the line between science fiction and reality.

The World of Nursing
In this series of articles and I am not sure on how many there will be I will be describing nursing skills and how they may or may not have changed over the years. It will be a series that will include history as well as how nurses' notes in patient charts have changed. The articles will have an individual skill as in handwashing, which is one of the very first skills that one learns as a nurse or in any caring profession. I plan on typing the skill verbatim from my nursing textbooks and comparing that with another version of handwashing from another caring profession or from how they washed hands in the past (giving credit to that author of that textbook.) Then I will describe the differences if there are any.

The Dead
'The Dead' is a youth novel written by Charlie Higson. I found this book in my grandnephew's old bedroom after he moved. This is a zombie story that covers the gambit of rich and poor. It is a story of adult zombies attacking kids after becoming infected. This is a story that Charlie Higson shows and tells how youth can overcome diversity in many ways. To me the scenes depicted are quite graphic at times. You can see the similarities to a television program known as 'The Living Dead' except with kids in the lead. It is a quick read and at times quite intriguing.

Shelter of Hope
At times I am a reader of the Harlequin romance story. They are not always just about love and sex. There are a lot of them that are purely very good family stories like 'Shelter of Hope New Friends Street written by Lyn Cote. This is the story of Marc Chambers and Rosa Santos and how they help each other in many ways. The main plot of this story is in how a community can come together to help one of its own.
