The magician paid a sum of money, took the lamp back to the inn, and put it in a basket. Carrying a basket of oil lamps, he went out of the inn and shouted in the streets, "Who has an old lamp? Get them for new lamps!" When people heard him Shouting, they laughed and taunted him: "This man must be crazy. Otherwise, how could he exchange the new lamp for the old one?" So the crowd gathered round him, and the children, especially curious, always followed and taunted him. But the magician walked on without a care in the world until he came to Aladdin's palace.

He raised his voice, and the children joined him in Shouting, "Crazy old man..."

It happened that Princess Badinus Butoru, who was sitting in the pavilion overlooking the landscape, heard a noise of Shouting, looked down from the window, saw that it was a strange sight, and, not knowing what it was, sent her maid down to learn more about it.

The maid went down at once and, looking out of the door, heard someone Shouting: "Who has an old lamp? Would you like to exchange it for a new lamp?" At the same time a group of children were in the back, making a lot of noise.

The maid hurried back to tell Princess Badinu Budoru, who could not help laughing. Then the maidservants began to talk to the princess. One of them said:

"I don't think this man is telling the truth."

"Princess, I see an old lamp in our master's room." "Said the other," Let us exchange it with him, and then we will know whether he is telling the truth or not." Aladdin, in a moment of carelessness, had forgotten to put the lamp away, and the maid had seen it.

Princess Badinu Butoru knew nothing of the secret of the lamp, and of course she did not know that Aladdin was able to marry her and become the emperor's husband and FS because of the lamp. So she agreed with her maidservant and said, "Yes, go and get the old lamp from your master's house."

She did this simply to prove whether the caller could really exchange the old lamp for a new one.

At once the maidservant brought the lamp and gave it to Princess Badinu Budoru.

The princess did not know that this was a trick of the magician, and without hesitation sent one of the eunuchs to take down the old lamp and replace it with a new one. The eunuch obeyed, and in a few moments he went upstairs with a new lamp, which he placed carefully in front of the princess. When the princess took a closer look at the new lamp, she really thought that the lamp change man's behavior was incomprehensible and could not help laughing.

The African magician was so pleased to see that the old lamp he had bought was indeed the enchanted one he had taken out of an underground treasure. He stuffed it into his breast pocket, threw away the remaining new lamps which had been used in the trade, and went on his way. He ran away from the children until he reached the outskirts of the city, then slowed his pace and walked on, patiently waiting for night to fall in the wilderness. Seeing that it was almost time, the magician took out his magic lamp and rubbed it. The genie of the lamp immediately appeared in front of him and said:

"Master, what do you want me to do when your servant has come to you at your call? Just command it."

So the magician said to the Genie of the lamp, "Take Aladdin's palace, and everything and everyone in it, and move them to Africa, where I come from. But don't forget to take me with you."

"I see, at my service. Now close your eyes, and when you open them again, you will see yourself and the palace at home."

In a moment the Djinn had moved the palace of the magician and Aladdin, with everything in it, to Africa.

The emperor had always been fond of Princess Badinu Budoru, the apple of his eye, and so the first thing he did every morning was to look at his daughter's palace.
