The Unknown

It was a cold and dark night in London; Mr. Alex Walker was coming from a party. He was quite drank; when he entered his house, he saw two guys in his house near his safe. Mr. Alex was quite rich and was one of the biggest entrepreneurs of London; He was the owner of Walker Tech, a multi-million dollar company. He was very interested and fond of collecting valuable jewels; He had a Diamond worth of 150 million dollars in his safe. On that night, the two guys in his house were robbers and were stealing the Diamond. Mr. Alex was quite unconscious but he was able to contact the cops before Joey; one of the robbers smashed a vase on his head and he fainted. As Joey and Danny, the second robber, grabbed the Diamond and were about to leave but when they got on the bike, the cops came to Mr. Alex's house and surrounded it from all corners. There were about twenty cops but Joey and Danny didn’t pay any attention to the cops; they sat on the bike, started it and rode away. One of the cops stood in front of them and shouted “FREEZE!” Joey was riding the bike and Danny was sitting behind him. Joey increased the speed of the bike to 100-110 so they could avoid any bullets. They also lifted the bike up on a single wheel to scare the cop away instead he aimed the gun at them and was about to shoot. Then Joey thought that he didn’t had a choose so he boosted the speed and banged the bike with the cop. The cop went flying in the air and landed in the bushes, gladly, he only had minor injuries. Then they ran and the chase continued and lasted for 10 minutes; Joey and Danny went through the underpass which was surrounded by the cops from both ends and they had no place to go; they were trapped. The cops blocked the underpass and waited for them on the other side of the underpass. As they were waiting, the blockage caused a traffic jam which increased and got worse every minute. So, they decided to let certain people go so the mess wouldn’t spread. They waited and waited but the robbers didn’t come out; so, they decided to go in but they were nowhere to be seen. The cops were quite confused and shock that the robbers came in but didn’t went out, it was like they vanished in the middle of the underpass.

Due to distraction and outrage, this case was getting out of hand; so, it was decided to give this case to Inspector Russ Neymar; who the people can say is the secret weapon of the London Police Department. Inspector Russ Neymar was the best detective in town, when the police department has a problem to get rid of, they call Inspector Russ Neymar. After a day or two, when the case was assigned to Inspector Russ, another robbery took place; in the house of Mr. Edward James, who was the proud owner of Edward Villas, a 7-Star Hotel. They were the same robbers who robbed Mr. Alex Walker, Joey and Danny. This time they stole 250 million dollars’ worth of Gold Bars, which were located in the safe house of Mr. Edward James. When Joey and Danny rode out of Mr. Edward’s safe house, Inspector Russ reached at the scene and started chasing them. According to the previous plan of the robbers, Inspector Russ knew that they will go through the underpass; so, he took a shortcut and sealed the exit point of the underpass but there were still some traffic that entered the underpass. After some time, Joey and Danny came and entered the underpass but then again they didn’t come out. Inspector Russ was shocked but still certain that the robbers were in the underpass; so, he searched the entire underpass on his own so that he could be certain but didn’t find them. The mess of the traffic jam continued; so, Inspector Russ decided to unseal the underpass and apologized to the citizens for the unconvinced. As the traffic started to move, Inspector Russ dropped his pen but unnoticed it. Two individuals, who were on a bike, but having different faces and bike, proving not to be the robbers, came grabbed the pen from the road and excused Inspector Russ and gave the pen to him. Inspector Russ thanked both of the individuals and got distracted with his work; so, the individuals also left the scene. Inspector Russ went back to the Police Department and was thinking, “The secret of their disappearance is in the underpass; what if instead of sealing the exit point, I seal the entry point.”

Few hours later, the news for both the robbers was the headline of the day. In a café, a person named Mr. Stewart Will was enjoying a cup of coffee when suddenly his eyes fell on the television which resulted in him panicking and sweeting. He called Inspector Russ and asked for protection when he asked why, Mr. Stewart Will said “I’m the robbers next target; please help me.” Which sounded a little fishy to Inspector Russ but he said that he will send two cops at his house for the protection of Mr. Stewart Will’s Valuables. After exactly 8 hours later, Danny, alone on his bike and wearing a bag, came to Mr. Stewart Will’s house and broken in. Mr. Stewart saw him but reacted a little late; Danny smashed a bat on his head, he became uncurious and fainted on the ground. Danny was unaware of the two cops who were guiding the safe; as he entered the safe room, the cops saw him and started attacking him. Danny, after taking a few shoots, faint the cops; then he started opening the safe. He was also unaware of the new security alarm installed on the safe by Inspector Russ which sent an alert to him. After a minute or so, Inspector Russ was behind Danny in his Jeep and once again the chase continued.

Inspector Russ knew the plan so sure this time, so he already had a team covering the entry of the underpass and the robbers had no place hide this time. But little did Inspector Russ know that there was a change in plan, instead of going to the underpass, Danny went on a bridge; and another surprise was in store, he stood on the bike, twisted it with his legs and jumped on the bus nearby. This twist in the plan caused a serious accident on the bridge resulting in a traffic jam; Danny standing on the bus, looked at Inspector Russ and jumped of the bridge, Inspector Russ could only see what was going on but couldn’t do anything about it. As Inspector Russ glanced over the edge of the bridge, he saw a parachute coming out of the bag and the robber landing safely on the ground; the second robber (Joey) was also there, waiting for his partner. They both tricked the cops including Inspector Russ and ran out of the scene. But Inspector Russ didn’t give up; he continued the chase until he didn’t have them. After a lengthy chase of 25 minutes, Inspector Russ finally caught them by surrounding them on a bridge which had a river below it so the robbers were completely trapped this time.

Inspector Russ Jumped out of his jeep and shouted “How many members are there in your gang?” The robbers laughed and said “We have 2 members of different faces” By saying this, they placed their hands on their faces and pulled the masks out. Inspector Russ was jogging his memory because they looked like two familiar faces, saying “I have seen you somewhere, but where? HUH! Now I remember, you both were there, in the underpass when I was looking for the robbers.” They replied “Yes, our names are Joey and Danny.” Inspector Russ asked “But! You used to go through the underpass but that day you didn’t, why?” Danny replied “It’s because of your pen in your pocket, might I say my pen. The pen is a microphone, we could hear all about your plans.” Inspector Russ said “OK! Just one more question. Why are you robbing these guys?” They answered “It’s not wrong to take what’s rightfully ours.” Inspector Russ said “I don’t understand.”

Joey and Danny replied “The story started about 15 years ago, our father, was a safe manufacturer, and might I say one of the best safe manufacturers that ever lived; he was a professional in his work. Danny was quite interested in designing gadgets, he helped dad in making his safes more secure while Joey was interested in bikes. We were living a happy life then one day three men came to meet our father: Mr. Edward James, Mr. Stewart Will and Mr. Alex Walker. They wanted our father to build them high Tech and secure Safes and said that they will pay a handsome amount for it. Our Father agreed and started working on the Safes, later, when our father designed their safes, he came to know that they were using him and would not pay our father his hard earned money. When our father used forced, they declared that our father is corrupt by using their power negatively; which resulted in our Father going to prison. After 3 days of his arrest, we went to the prison to meet him but little did we know that at the time of the arrest was the last time we were meeting him. We saw the blood dripping from his veins that were cut with a blade which he founded laying around in his ceil. From that day onwards, we decided to take revenge.” Inspector Russ said “I know what happened with you both was wrong and I’m really sorry for that but you have taken your revenge and now you both need to come with me.” Both replied “Yes! Our revenge is complete. We had a reason to live and that reason is completed; there is no reason for us to live anymore.” Both of them jumped over the bridge into the river; Inspector Russ rushed towards the edge of the bridge but couldn’t see anything but water. His assistant asked “What now? Sir” Inspector Russ answered “Nothing! Case closed; they were not robbers but only a little hurt. The pain inside them, made them do these things.”
