True Events

I know you'll love the events, action, strangeness, and shocks in it. The story begins during the early events in Syria when the security situation was tense. There was a young man named Ali, 23 years old, from Yarmouk, a very simple area in Syria, and Ali was simpler than simplicity itself. He was very poor and naive. Let me explain his character: if Ali ate in front of anyone, whether he knew them or not, he would chew loudly and wouldn’t know this was bad manners. When drinking tea or water, he made slurping sounds, not knowing it was inappropriate.

Due to the events in Syria, one of his brothers in Turkey, Taksim, told Ali to come over. This was at the beginning of the events, before large-scale migrations and the involvement of human rights organizations and refugee centers. Ali left for Turkey, then Cyprus, and eventually Norway, because he didn't like staying in Turkey. His brother arranged for smugglers, and on boats, Ali traveled to Cyprus and then to Norway.

In Norway, Ali applied for asylum, was accepted, and granted residency. At first, Norway did not have refugee reception centers. When Ali arrived, he was briefly imprisoned for two or three days. After explaining his situation, he was released, provided with temporary housing, and the government helped him find a job. Initially, he found a job walking dogs, a common job in many European and even Arab countries now. Ali, being simple and poorly dressed, found stability in this job.

After a few months, Ali began learning Norwegian and integrating. People pitied him, especially the families whose dogs he walked. They gave him clothes and tips. Eventually, Ali frequented human rights organizations and refugee shelters, offering to help with cleaning and maintenance, as the centers were not yet well-established.

During this time, he met a woman named Asmahan, a Norwegian of Syrian descent. Her parents had passed away, and her siblings were mostly in the USA. Asmahan was about ten years older than Ali and had previously been married twice, once to an Egyptian and once to a Syrian, both ending in divorce without children. When Asmahan met Ali, she quickly decided to marry him because she wanted children and felt time was running out. Within three weeks, they were married, and Ali moved into her house.

After a month or so, Asmahan became pregnant. She told Ali about her friend in Brazil who owned a salon and wanted to sell it. Asmahan planned for them to move to Brazil, buy the salon, and settle there. Ali agreed, having no real opinion. They sold their house in Norway, and moved to Brazil with their daughter, Sham. Asmahan's friend, Matilda, sold them the salon, and they settled in Rio de Janeiro, one of the most dangerous places in the world.

Ali, needing a job, found work with the help of Matilda's Lebanese acquaintance, who owned several shops in Rio. Initially, Ali struggled with the language, but soon became the manager, earning a good salary. However, his wife controlled the finances, giving him money sparingly, while treating him poorly. Ali lived a monotonous and degrading life until one day, he met a beautiful Brazilian girl named Claudia at the shop. She asked for flavored tobacco, and although Ali didn’t have it, he promised to find it for

Ali’s infatuation with Claudia grew. They started meeting regularly, and eventually, Ali expressed his desire to marry her. Claudia, however, was involved in a dangerous world. Unknown to Ali, Claudia was part of an organ trafficking gang, her role being to lure victims. When Claudia discovered Ali's connection to Asmahan, who had no close ties in Brazil, she saw an opportunity.

Claudia staged a situation to scare Asmahan, making her believe she was cursed and needed to see a sorceress, Claudia’s mother, who was deeply involved in black magic. Claudia convinced Asmahan to follow her to a dangerous neighborhood under the guise of breaking the curse. There, Asmahan and her daughter were murdered, their organs harvested. The bodies were left in a car, discovered only because of the unusual sight of two bodies in the crime-ridden area.

Ali was devastated when he learned about their deaths. The investigation, led by Norwegian and American security teams, eventually linked Claudia to the crime through forensic evidence. She was arrested and sentenced to 15 years in prison, although she managed to escape with the help of her gang and assumed a new identity. Ali, mentally shattered, was taken back to Norway, where he received psychiatric treatment.

This tragic story illustrates the dangers and complexities faced by individuals caught in the webs of migration, crime, and exploitation, underscoring the profound impact of global issues on personal lives.
