On a calm suburban street in the Canadian town of Medicine Hat in 2006. The six-year-old arrives in search of his best friend, but the play date is not happening today. That basement was a bloodbath. No matter how many scary films you watch, nothing will ever come close to what transpired in that house. A husband and wife were found dead, with several stab wounds all over their bodies. The police were at a loss on what to do at the scene. When they got there, they thought it was a domestic murder-suicide. They were unaware that their eight-year-old son, who was also deceased upstairs. Blood covered everything in the room, including his bed linens and little toys.

The officers testified in court years after the horrific sight, were still deeply traumatised. They sobbed on the stand, recalling the little boy who had died in his bed, but who also had a sister. When one of the cops looked at a family portrait that was resting on a side table, he saw that it had four people. Thus, a girl was absent. The daughter, twelve, may have been abducted by the murderer, according to the authorities. The truth is unbelievable, no one could have guessed it. It's a calm, middle-class kind of town that values family.

This was a close-knit and incredibly loving family. They did not deserve to meet their maker; they only deserved to live. When the authorities found the missing girl's school locker just hours after the murders, they discovered a chilling drawing inside. The artwork was of a stick figure of her running off to her boyfriend's truck after setting her family on fire. It was gloomy and simplistic. She instantly changed from being a missing person or a victim of kidnapping to a murder suspect. Could a twelve-year-old schoolgirl really be responsible for killing her own family? It's inconceivable. Jr. was an average Catholic schoolgirl, nothing special. Up until she finds out about a dark side, she was a fairly hard worker and, by all accounts, simply an ordinary, unassuming girl.

Her interest in the goth movement began to grow. She seemed to be particularly captivated to their darkness, as well as the creative quality of their makeup and dress code, in my opinion. She noticed other children at the mall wearing chains, shorter skirts, and fishnet stockings, and while her peers were dressing according to the Catholic school dress code, she was more interested in these looks. But this goes beyond style; Junior is behaving suspiciously, and the innocent little lady has fallen in love with the worst nightmare of every parent. He lived in a trailer park, was an unemployed high school dropout, and came from the other side of the tracks. It's a match made in hell.

He is almost twice her age (23), a drug addict who is well immersed in the Gothic subculture. He even went so far as to inform his buddies that he thought he was a werewolf who had lived for 300 years and that he always wore a blood vial around his neck. Acting and looking older than her 12-year-old years. The fact that their connection was motivated by forbidden love and involved sexual activity was among its most unsettling elements. Jr. finishes his transition into a Gothic. Even her friends were scared of Junior, and she found it endearing. She like the thought of intimidating others; it gave her a sense of strength.

Junior's obsession with goth culture extended far beyond makeup; it satiated a fundamental desire for her. I have to be someone else. I must be terrifying. I have to exert control over others. Her partner is at the centre of this dark world; they had a secret relationship for a long time, but when it was exposed to her parents, it further strained their relationship and sparked a domestic conflict. There will be three innocent deaths in this war. A teenage girl in Medicine Hat, Canada, is uncontrollably captivated with the dark goth subculture. The 12-year-old and a man twice her age are involved in a prohibited romantic relationship. You would never want your child to date someone like him. You would immediately call the police, place your child on lockdown, and take all other reasonable steps to keep him away from your child.

Junior vents her rage online when her parents become involved with her affair. I hate them, therefore I have this plan, Jr. wrote. It starts with me killing them and ends with me living with you. Jr. discovered a man, an adult, in her boyfriend, someone she could control. He discovered that she was someone he looked up to. This combination was toxic. Natural Born Killers was one of his favourite films. In the first scenes of that film, a young man kills his girlfriend's parents in order to give her freedom. He started to associate that with the tasks that Jr. was giving him. Jr.'s mother hears a disturbance coming from the basement in the dark of night.

Imagine reaching the bottom of the steps only to encounter a terrifying figure with a large knife and a black outfit. This mom from the suburbs has no chance. Her friends called her a lioness, but there was no way she could equal a man with a knife and high as a kite ready to kill. Junior’s father makes his own attack, but he is doomed from the first knife strike. A significant issue with the sympathetic reaction to a stabbing is that it causes an increase in heart rate and blood pressure, which accelerates the bleeding and causes you to get weaker quickly.

Junior comforts her scared sibling. When her boyfriend appears she knew that her wish has come true—her parents are dead—They are free to be together, an eight-year-old boy has no place in their new life. It's an atrocity that is unimaginably terrible. They essentially said that he had to go too because he was too sensitive and that it would be terrible to leave him without parents, which is why he died for nothing. It's just unimaginable. The young couple's freedom is short-lived; they are arrested within a day.

They were not showing any visible symptoms of trauma or grief over what had happened. The lover was actually displaying his wounded eye after the altercation with Jr.'s father. The terrifying force of forbidden love was greater than the combined devotion of two parents. Their daughter had received their love and attention. Jr.'s partner is currently receiving a life term for murder under Canadian law. Jr. was convicted of three counts of murder; her true identity is unknown. She is given the ten-year maximum juvenile punishment. That sentence infuriated people, but that is how Canadian legislation is written. It's not so much intended to punish youth as it is to rehabilitate them.JR will be allowed to return to society in 2016 at the age of 22. In my opinion, a child who murders their parents when there is no proof of parental abuse ought to be imprisoned indefinitely.
