A ten-year-old kid and his parents lived in a small town. This young man had a short fuse.

He would readily become irritated and would frequently have tantrums. With his cruel statements, he made fun of his friends, neighbors, little children, and even complete strangers. His parents were really saddened by this.

Sometimes when he spoke, he would lose control of his fury and use the incorrect words. He would be blunt in his criticism of whatever he did not like. His friends and neighbors began to ignore him more and more.

His parents started to notice this and regularly sought to counsel him. Sadly, none of their attempts were successful.

The boy's father at last had a thought. He received a sizable quantity of nails from his father one day.

Every time he became furious or lost his temper, he told his kid to drive one nail into the fence. Even though the youngster thought it was funny, he chose to obey his father's orders. Thus, he was present. Every time he lost his fury, he ran to the backyard fence and drove a nail into it.

He hammered 30 nails into the fence merely on the first day out of rage! He was an angry youngster, but he was also focused and dedicated, and each day he meticulously followed the directions.

The number of nails driven into the fence each day gradually decreased, until then the day came when not a single nail was driven! Yes! The youngster really went the entire day without losing his cool!

A few days passed. And the child kept his temper under control. He was relieved to report to his father that he had avoided pounding any nails since he had maintained his composure. Naturally, his father was overjoyed. A new set of instructions were now given to his kid. At the conclusion of each day, he instructed the youngster to remove 30 nails so that he would not lose his cool. The curious kid complied.

Over the course of many days, the child was able to remove all but a handful of the fence's nails, which had proven to be too difficult to get out. After telling his father about his finding, they both headed out to the backyard.

Pointing to the fence, his father questioned the youngster. "My boy, what do you see?"

"A fence with plenty of holes. And with a few nails that, despite my best efforts, I am unable to remove.

I agree, my kid. You see, the nails are comparable to your foul language, explosive anger, and rude behavior. When you offended someone's feelings, they were pounded into their hearts. The majority of the nails might come out, but the fence will always have holes and scuffs. Even a few nails are lodged. Since they have buried themselves too deeply in the fence, they cannot be removed. They're going to stay there for good now. Never again will the barrier have the same appearance.

As a result, we must always exercise caution in what we say and do to others. Harmful speech is like a nail that pierces people's hearts and leaves a mark long after it is pulled out. Unfortunately, certain harsh remarks may become too ingrained in people's hearts. cannot be removed. then, my kid. Insha Allah, let's attempt to always select our words and deeds wisely.

The nails is a story about a boy who was very angry and had tantrums. He would get angry very easily and often threw tantrums. He taunted his friends, neighbors, smaller children and even strangers. His anger was getting worse every day.

So this was the story told in first person perspective from the boy's point of view, but it is told in past. The character's voice is characterized as being angry, loud and impatient to the point where he would not listen to anyone else when they tried to teach him how to behave properly or calm down his temper.
