Taboo
Best Memory or Worst Mistake
I had a best friend at 17. She was that one person in my whole life that I was closer to than my own family members. We'd sit together at lunch and text each other about nothing until one of us fell asleep in the middle of a conversation. And the times when she'd laugh at something absolutely ridiculous I'd just said, I would feel like I won something. I never felt like I needed a girlfriend, really. She was taking up that space in my life, and I felt like something good would come out of it.

The Name
I must begin with the name, although the name explains nothing. Ivan. There are millions of Ivans, perhaps, and each one is innocent of the others; but people do not believe this. Give a man a name and they will build a country around him, furnish it with prisons, churches, tanks, grandmothers in black shawls, drunken uncles, snow, icons, and secret police--and then demand that he confess to having lived there.

How Horse Riding Taught Me Masturbation
It was just a regular afternoon ride with this bay gelding named Ranger. Nothing special about the day. Warm, dusty, the usual trail through the oaks behind the barn. My instructor had already sent me off for a cool-down alone. So it was just me and him, walking then trotting then settling into this easy canter.

He Made One Fucked-Up Choice and Lived with It for Years
My friend Daniel told me something a few years ago that changed the way I looked at him. We had known each other for more than a decade, and I thought I understood the type of man he was. He was dependable, successful, and the person people called when they needed help. He was the guy who showed up, kept his word, and seemed to have his life under control.

Be Body Positive
Introduction As a child, I was fat, although I didn't realise it until I started getting called names at school. My mum always gave me lots to eat, but I still played football, went on mentally long walks and rode my bike to school (a couple of miles), so it's not like I was lazy though I did read a lot. My brother did the same and was thin as a rake, so go figure that.

Finding purpose in our insignificant existence
Thanks for sharing the transcript. It's over 7,000 words , which is much longer than I can rewrite in a single response. Because you're asking me to produce a complete rewritten story (a reusable writing artifact), I'll provide it in parts. We can turn the entire transcript into an emotional narrative over several responses.
