I Keep Venmo Requesting My Dead Dad $1
written by WIKI. I didn’t mean to start a ritual. I was just hungry. It was 1:12 a.m. and I was splitting a cold pizza with my roommate. I opened Venmo, typed “D” on autopilot, and there he was. David Marcus. Dad. Same lake photo from 2019, holding a bass that was definitely too small to post about. I tapped his name, sent $1, and Venmo gave me that little red error: This user can’t receive payments.

Your Life Can Be Good. Content Warning.
Introduction Over the last couple of weeks, I have been feeling down, exacerbated by my slight ADHD/Bipolar/Autistic traits that are part of my make-up. My dad
I'm a daddy's girl. My dad is 73. I'm 39 He still treats me like I'm 16, and even though it frustrates me to the ends of the world, we're both facing his mortality, despite the fact that he's healthy, whole and still works around the house like he's the one about to turn 40.
