Embarrassment
The Lady of the Night (in China)
In mainland China, prostitution is illegal. Like most places, that doesn't mean it does not still go on. The reality on the ground is complex. The government officially bans the practice. Still, the industry thrives using hidden and disguised methods.

Who Is the Killer of the World?
Who Is the Killer of the World? The world is a beautiful place filled with mountains, rivers, forests, oceans, animals, and billions of human beings. Nature provides everything needed for life: clean air, fresh water, food, and shelter. However, today the world is facing serious problems such as pollution, war, climate change, hunger, violence, and destruction of natural resources. Many people ask an important question: “Who is the killer of the world?” The answer is simple but painful. Humans themselves are becoming the biggest killers of the world through greed, selfishness, hatred, and carelessness.

How Beijing Shapes Global Sanctions
China’s Strategic Veto: How Beijing Shapes Global Sanctions In the complex arena of international diplomacy, few tools carry as much weight as economic sanctions. They are designed to pressure governments, deter aggression, and enforce global norms without resorting to military force. Yet, the effectiveness of sanctions often depends not only on intent but on consensus—particularly within the United Nations Security Council. Here, one country’s decision can shift the entire outcome, and China has increasingly used its position to influence that balance.

Double Standards with Teenagers Dating
When I was a teenager, I had my share of experiences, including dating, which became the worst of my life. But when it comes to teenagers and dating, it can be an experience of finding true love or a future husband or wife. Or better yet, who knows if teenagers would ever find a soulmate in high school, or in college, or better yet, in a childhood friend.

The Eulogy
I want to be clear that Gerald was not a close friend. He was a friend in the way that a dentist is a friend. Someone you see twice a year, who knows things about you that you'd rather keep private, and who causes you pain that everyone agrees is for your own good. We played in the same recreational tennis league. He wore the same yellow wristband every match. He always brought a cooler of kombucha to share, (which no one wanted), but everyone drank because Gerald had a way of standing near the cooler that made refusal feel rude.

A Second Helping. Winner in I Made It Worse Challenge.
Dear Hansel, Brother, I am so so sorry that I failed you. I can still see your face when we first found that house. I had never seen you smile like that. Your hunger had been growling for miles through the trees, and then suddenly there was the gingerbread, the icing, the candy. We fell upon it like starving animals.

Dinner Anyone?
Well, dear, your dinner ended up on the floor. I’m so sorry. I know apologies don’t always make things right, but it wasn’t my fault. Of course, had you come home earlier last night, you could have tried it with me, and it was good, quite yummy. I enjoyed it while watching TV, but you were bowling.

The Fall of Uncle Gary. Honorable Mention in I Made It Worse Challenge.
Harmony, my lovely wife, I'm writing this at the office to review some details in case they're needed. I'll probably just call you and fill you in on the way home. You'll understand later one way or another.

The Fragile Snap of My Internal Law. Runner-Up in I Made It Worse Challenge.
You understand the necessity of stopping a disaster before it happens don’t you? I decided to start my day overthinking. I would wash my hair. I would multiply my lucre. Instead I had to endure a capricious flow that arrived unannounced; I had to witness the stain of a fresh liner; I had to listen to the fragile snap of my glasses colliding with the shower floor.

The Cost of High-Frequency Tolerance: A Technical Audit of Self-Erasure
The observation period has ended. This document records the findings. This is not a reflection. It is an audit. The subject: a legacy identity construct trained to equate availability with value.
