Five Hundred Dollars

Introduction

This is just a short piece to celebrate reaching $500 in reads on Vocal, that is 83,400 reads by you. So thank you for everyone for supporting me by reading my work.

Seriously I never ever thought this would happen, but it has done now. To put this in context I know one excellent creator who has had five times as many reads (so that is $2,500 from reads) so I am nothing special.

I included "Medicine Show" by Big Audio Dynamite for the judges verdict at the end of the song. You have to give it a listen, maybe I am guilty of a few of the charges listed which you can read here if you don't want to listen:

How Did This Happen?

I do believe that my writing is excellent, and I have built up an audience. I try to support others, and others at least read my work, even if they don't comment.

This story has over two hundred reads, but only two hearts (one of which is mine) and one comment:

This one has only three hearts

This one also only has there hearts

And a final one with only three Vocal Hearts

But many do comment and support me. I have even had ninety-nine tips, which shows support from other Creators. I don't expect tips, but they are nice to get.

Conclusion

I will continue to write, support and publish, and feel that I will have my support reciprocated.
