Something Wicked . Top Story - October 2023.
“Ostend te,” I whisper. The wall has vanished and in its place, a winding stairway appears. Faint light lines the walls as candles flicker. The stone walls feel slick and cold as the wall guides me down the stairs. I follow down the steps as mice scurry past my feet. Warmth hits me before anything. Exodus, Chapter One. Top Story - October 2023.
Black clouds had receded and were banking sedately in an overcast but peaceful sky, far off by the misty line of wold which marked the horizon. Joe had seen the dome of a dazzling morning soar so high over these flat fens as to awe the observer with a sense of distance, but in this still afternoon hour the mood was more of a reassuring nearness. The rain begins to pour heavier and heavier, causing shockwaves of sound through the city streets.

Self-Liberation: An Intense Experience. Top Story - September 2023.
The quest for liberty takes many forms, from political activism to philosophizing. But the freest country in the world will not be satisfying to one who is not at peace with oneself. To one who lacks self-esteem and a sense of personal worth, political freedom means very little. And one who is not confident in their moral code or who lacks a clear-cut set of values is more susceptible to authoritarian pressure than the self-confident individual.
