Reading music is an essential skill for any musician, as it allows them to understand and perform written compositions. The process of reading music involves interpreting the symbols and memorandum set up on a distance of music in order to play the correct notes on an instrument. At its utmost introductory position, reading music involves understanding the layout of a distance of music, including the staff, clefs, and note values. The staff, which is the foundation of distance music, is made up of five vertical lines and four spaces, on which notes are placed.

Introduction When I was in the Bok the band leader Andy Marshall described instrumentals as "Songs Without Words" and we had a few of those, though none made it to our demo tape that you can hear on Soundcloud link below (the pic of my ugly mug) if you feel like listening to something John Peel described as "primitive" and Stiff Records just sent us a pre-printed rejection letter. Rabid wanted to put out "Happy Birthday"/"Mystery Band" as a double "A" side single but they folded before that happened.

From Amir Royale I don't think I've ever really felt well-understood by my peers or mentors. Most my life I was outcasted for my passionate and exuberant outlook. "Phonics" was a way for me to define what that felt like — but, furthermore — showcase to others how to combat it. I've had this song sitting in a vault since before the pandemic. Thus, I recruited some of my favorite people in this whole wide world to share the stage for one of my last few "harder" stories to tell. Or, well — at least I think so. Declan Sheehy-Moss (a good friend of the next J. Dilla and Robert Glasper - Cisco Swank); as well as Sydney Kate Palmer (an NYU student of mine) both bring this so beautifully to life — and, I don't know — I just hope you finally get it one day. Kidney Bingos - The Music Of Wire
Introduction I think I first came across Wire on the "Live At The Roxy London WC2 - Jan - Apr 77" album, where two of their songs, "Lowdown" and "12XU", were featured. The album was a great live punk document but while their sound was very raw, for me, Wire stood out as being different and it turned out that they progressed while generally staying out of the mainstream and are still creating music today.
