MAFS Denver decision day is here, Hence, if you haven’t seen this episode yet; you should stop reading. So, are you ready to see if the couples decide to stay married or get a divorce?

First and foremost, I wasn’t a fan of this season. Similar to the last few years; I found myself uninterested in watching this show.

When the couples were introduced to the audience; I predicted all of the couples would get a divorce. To learn more about this, check out my MAFS Denver Spoilers – Meet the Couples article.

MAFS Denver Decision Day – Married or Divorced

Once again, I didn’t understand these matches at all. Over the last few seasons; I have found the Experts haven’t done a good job with the matches.

Although most people are more open to different races and religions; that didn’t seem to be the case with this season. For instance, Lauren and Orion didn’t appear to be a good match to me. During the honeymoon; there was a discussion between them about their race which led to Orion pulling the plug on their marriage.

Also, religion seemed to come up in several conversations with Rebecca and Austin.

When this couple first met; they seemed to be a good match. However, as time went on, the couple seemed to have disagreements about religion.

Also, the couple didn’t seem to progress in their physical intimacy. In my opinion, Becca was more invested in the relationship. And, Austin never seemed to be on the same page.

When they meet with the Experts to make their decision; they both express some concerns.

So, Becca says she needs to feel grounded. When she is asked whether she wants to stay married or not; she decides she wants to stay married. Also, Austin decides he is excited to stay married.

MAFS Denver Decision Day – Emily and Brennan

Because Emily never had a boyfriend before getting married; there were a lot of doubts about whether she would be ready to go from single to married. But, Emily surprised me. Although Emily seemed to like her cocktails; she seemed like she was fully committed to the process and wanted to make the relationship last.

Sadly, during their honeymoon; Brennan seemed to flip a switch. I am unsure what happened since nothing was shown. However, this couple didn’t seem like they were there for the same thing. Brennan came across bored with a lot of their conversations.

When they meet with the Experts; Pastor Cal is hoping they will have some civility. Since the two of them seem to keep going in circles; Pastor Cal told Brennan he was placating his emotions. Also, he says both Emily and Brennan are irretrievably broken.

Emily said she went in with good intentions, but she wants a divorce. Next, Brennan says he also wants to get a divorce.

MAFS Denver Decision Day – Clare and Cameron

Since this couple separated before decision day; it wasn’t a surprise this couple decided to get a divorce.

From the beginning, this couple seemed to have no chemistry. Although they both seemed nice; they weren’t able to progress beyond friendship.

When Cameron became ill; Clare continued to show him her support. Cameron tells her he felt her emotions but was too weak to accept it.

They both decide to remain separated and get a divorce.

MAFS Denver Decision Day – Chloe and Michael

Since this was Take 2 for Michael; they are only a few weeks into their marriage. Also, I didn’t like there wasn’t anything about who Michael was matched up with the first time which to this day remains a mystery.

Next Week and Beyond

So, after decision day, everyone meets up the next day. Becca learns that Austin was out with a Producer. Yet, he wasn’t truthful with her when she asked him who she was out with. Meanwhile, we will have to wait and see what will happen with this couple.

Moreover, I missed many of this season’s episodes. I found the couples mismatched and didn’t enjoy watching this trainwreck.

So, we will have to wait to see what happens next week.

Of course, I will add any updates on where everyone stands shortly.

For MAFS to be successful; the Ezperts need to be more mindful of the matches they make.

Since the Experts haven’t been lucky with their matches; will there be changes for Season 18?
