Lynne BlackPublished 11 days ago in BeatDharma and Greg a show a head of it’s time
I fell in love with this show “Dharma and Greg” it’s a sitcom that was a head of its time and the first of it’s kind that explored the concept of twin flames coming together as Dharma and Greg were but it was only said throughout the show that they were soulmates.
RIKKI LA ROUGEPublished 2 months ago in BeatJerry Springer: we’re gonna miss you
i’m going to miss Jerry Springer, like with all my heart and that’s the truth. His talk show was nothing more than rockets in your face and just just entertaining the watch. Average people from around the country would call in regarding any kind of subject matter of the show and then get on and these people that he’d have on. They just said they weren’t superstars or anything they were just people and you never heard from them again that’s commentary on the guests that Jerry Springer show used to have. Nameless people from out of nowhere come with their cheating. They’re stripping there. Any kind of problem they can think of they would come on the stage and it would be one hell of a good episode. all of Jerry Springer talk to episodes were awesome.

In the tumultuous world of rock and roll, few bands have captured the essence of theatricality quite like Kiss. With a career spanning five decades, Kiss has left an indelible mark on the music scene with anthems like "Detroit Rock City" and "Crazy Crazy Nights." Now, as they gear up for what they've dubbed the final performance of their "End of the Road World Tour," fans are left wondering if this is truly the end or just another encore in the grand showbiz tradition.
That was embarrassing
The party was in full swing, the music pulsating through the air, and laughter echoing off the walls. It was one of those lively gatherings where people from all walks of life converged for a night of celebration. Little did I know, this night would etch a memory in my mind under the category of "That was embarrassing."

Introduction This is lifted from a Seven Days In Post written two years before Scott Walker died but has been getting a few views. The man was the epitome of a true artist so was not to everyone's taste, but I find his work absolutely amazing.

George HallPublished 6 months ago in BeatReview of 'Reinventing Elvis: The ‘68 Comeback'
I just saw Reinventing Elvis: The ‘68 Comeback. The new documentary, narrated by Steve Binder -- about Elvis Presley's Comeback Special that aired on NBC back on December 3, 1968, directed by Steve Binder -- has been streaming on Paramount Plus since August 15, 2023 after opening two weeks earlier in theaters. The documentary did for me and my appreciation of Elvis what Peter Jackson's masterpiece The Beatles: Get Back did for me about The Beatles. Except The Beatles since the first time I heard (and saw) them on The Jack Paar Program in January 1964 have always been much higher in my estimation, more prominent in my life and love of music, at the pinnacle of that, in fact, than was and now is Elvis. But Peter Jackson's documentary both reaffirmed and lifted my connection to The Beatles, and Steve Binder's documentary did the same for me for Elvis, albeit at very different levels.
Paul LevinsonPublished 6 months ago in BeatMy Review On Lucifer
The show Lucifer takes place in when the Devil decides to take a vacation from Hell. Lucifer is supposed to be the ultimate evil but maybe that's not what it seems. The show circles around humanizing the antihero. With appearances of Cain (Tom Welling) we see the deeper understanding of the story of Cain and Abe.
