Playlists

I Just Graduated, so Naturally, I Have to Make a Throwback Playlist
2005, the year I began Kindergarten. The first and final year of nap-times in class. Two of the biggest songs of 2005 are "Gold Digger" by Kanye West and "Pon De Replay" by Rihanna. Both of these songs were huge in my life. Rihanna’s Music of The Sun CD was the first CD I ever bought. Even if I bought it from my sister with $20 I begged my mother for. My siblings and I would throw dance parties in our living room to these songs, and we all knew every word. (To the clean versions, of course!)
Legendary Lost
Round about, oh, say twenty-five years ago, there was a hole-in-the-wall record shop in Fairmount, Indiana called "Most Music." I'm going to assume it's long gone, although I couldn't say for certain.
Life's for Living... The Best Songs to Show Us the Way
There are many songs that remind us that life is for living and that we only get one chance to walk this Earth and we need to make the most of that time. How we do that is different for everyone and what makes one person's soul dance will make another's blood boil. We have to figure out our own path and find what makes us tick as individuals. These are my favourite songs to remind me that what's important is that we always strive to make the most of the lives we are given, and the time we have.

Grace LynchPublished 5 years ago in BeatMy Top 20 Essential Albums (Pt. 2)
This is the second part to my top 20 essential albums and I'm making this because I really just couldn't fit all my favourites into the first part. If you haven't read Part One, then you can read it here. It may help when it comes to understanding this second part.
Annie KapurPublished 5 years ago in BeatMy 20 Essential Albums
I have a number of favourite albums, and admittedly, it took me a while to put this together, because I knew I had to have one thing my music taste sometimes lacks: variety. If you already know me, then you know I'm a big 40s, 50s, and 60s fan–but this isn't really about me personally. This is more about which albums I think have been put together with real precision, and real thought. If you want to check out my personal tastes then I suggest you take a look at my lists on my "Essential Songs" by various artists including: Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and many, many more.

Lately, I've been pretty stressed. I've been dreading coming to work, even though I actually enjoy my job, and genuinely like my coworkers.
Kacie RiordanPublished 5 years ago in BeatHere Are 13 Specific *Mood* Playlists You Didn't Know You Needed
The best thing about music is that it can be for any feeling, frame of mind, or spirit. If you're not feeling great, you can either decide to sink further into the despair, or turn that feeling around and rise above the way you feel. It's like magic in the way it changes you.
Leah PhillipsPublished 5 years ago in BeatTop 10 Pop Songs from the 1990s
While grunge, alt-rock, and hip hop dominated the more alternative areas of music, 90s pop had just as much to offer. Welcome to MsMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the "Top 10 Pop Songs from the 1990s."
My Top Ten Favourite Songs by Bob Dylan
I don't normally do personal lists, but this one is personal. If I've already spoken to you on social media then you probably know what is roughly going to appear on this list. Everyone knows how much I love and adore Bob Dylan and how much I love reading and writing about him. I love the way he sings in stories, as someone who holds degrees in this stuff (see my profile) I respect the talent he has and the intelligence he gives off.
Annie KapurPublished 5 years ago in Beat16 Modern Rock Songs to Add to Your Ultimate Running Playlist
We’ve all been there—stuck at the gym having to listen to the same selection of songs some suit in a head office has approved for revenue. Or worse, outside and facing the rest of a route with not much to listen to but familiar tunes that just aren’t cutting it anymore. As a big runner myself, I owe so much to these songs for their existence. Collectively, these are the tracks that have stayed with me though the years, never failing to keep me going through the rough and hard times. If you’re in need of some solid rock anthems for company while you run, you might want to consider adding these to your running playlist today.
Shaun CarrPublished 5 years ago in BeatDiscovery Playlist Vol. 1
This playlist is a part of a series called "Discovery" where I take you through my latest journey of exploring music. Each playlist is unique; some may have a specific theme, and others may be a little random. However, the process of making these playlists stays the same: I scan my music library in alphabetical order and choose an artist for each letter (This can be difficult for some letters such as Q or X, so a letter may be skipped sometimes). Once I explore each artist, I pick my favorite tracks and simply make the playlist from those songs. The results are seen below!
