A Star

People walked past Philip as he kept singing and playing his guitar. Some dropped money to encourage him. Music has always been a part of Philip's life since he was little. He would always let people know he would be a star someday. As Philip kept playing his guitar, a man walked towards where he sat, he was a famous musician, but nobody could recognize him because he disguised himself to look different.

"Hey boy, I see you love music," the famous musician said.

"Yea, I do."

"Would you like to be Famous?"

"What?" Philip asked looking confused.

"I said would you like to be famous? Do you want people to know and recognize such amazing talent?"

"Yea…of course…sure,"

"Alright, I'll be here tomorrow, and after tomorrow your life is going to be changed forever," the famous musician said walking away.

Philip looked so confused. Why would someone he doesn't know want to change his life? He wondered if the man was joking or maybe he felt bored.

"Anyway, I would go back to the street to see what he can do to make me famous,"

The next day, Philip sat on his usual spot and started playing his guitar. Two men in a suit walked towards him,

"Are you Philip?" one of the men asked.

"Yea, sure,"

"A certain man spoke to you yesterday on being famous. He wants you to see him on the third floor of that building, we need you to come with us," he said, pointing towards the building across the street.

"okay"

Philip followed them to the building. As they approached the third floor, he could not believe his eyes. It was James hart, the famous R&B singer,

"Hello, Philip. Yea, I know you're wondering, but I was the man that met you yesterday you couldn't recognize me. Your dreams are about to come true,"

James brought out a contract for Philip to sign as he also owned a record label. Philip's life changed forever. He recorded songs and was finally famous.

"I am a star," Philip said to himself.

"Philip, Philip, wake up!" Courtney, Philip's sister yelled.

Philip sat up "it was a dream? I can't believe it was just a dream.

"What dream? I woke you up thirty minutes ago, and you went back to sleep again. What did you dream about?"

"I was a star. I can't believe it was just a dream," Philip said.
