Even as Edith climbed down from the walls around Avonar, she was still plagued by the thoughts that swirled within her mind. They dominated her every sense and the sights, sounds and even smells from the various vendors of meats and spices that normally overwhelmed customers now, for her, faded into the furthest recesses of her mind.

Destiny Whispers P2
This follows "Destiny Whispers P1" Edith continued through the streets of Avonar heading towards the tall and imposing walls that encircled the city. She found her way there easily, she had enjoyed coming up to the walls as a child to look over the city and out towards the golden fields of wheat that filled the countryside.

This follows "Weight of Woe" Hilda had left soon after their brief talk, though Edith found her appetite for breakfast had faded. Nonetheless, she forced herself to finish the meal, partly to show gratitude for the food, partly because she knew she needed to stay strong for the coming days.

This follows "The Path of Duty" Edith awoke the next morning. Light streamed through her window, and the sounds of bird song filled the air. She brushed away the hair that had fallen over her face as she slept. Her pillow, still moist from last night’s tears, reminded her of her grief. She sat up, rubbed her eyes, and stared out at the city of Avonar.

Corvinia
The Island kingdoms of Corvinia are places of great wonder. After overcomes the initial trepidation that the island presents upon first siting its shores, its strange beauty strikes you. The early morning mists that rise from the grassy hills and fields, blanket all that is in view. Suddenly, as though a torch was touched to oil, the mist will seem to burst into golden light at the first touch of the suns rays, lending the island an air of mystery and strange beauty.

Author's note: This follows Fyra and Sword Lor'kan continued to just stand over him blade still pointing close. Naythan looked up, a cold defiance creeping through him, "Do it." He knelt up and pressed his chest against the point. A small bead of blood welled up, slowly staining his cotton jerkin beneath the mail. He would not cower from his fate this time.

Fyra and Sword
Author's note: This follows Heart of Steel Lor'kan thrust his blade forward with such speed and precision Naythan barely whipped his blade to dash it to one side. Lor'kan used the momentum to bring his sword around his head in a slash right and left, right, left, right left battering Naythan as he blocked frantically backing up as he did so. He was losing too much ground too fast. Trying to regain the initiative, Naythan caught Lor'kan's last cut, lifted his elbow to angle the point of his blade towards Lor'kan's face and thrust forward, keeping his blade clashed with Lor'kan to protect himself even as he attacked. It worked, Lor'kan's assault pattern was broken and he backed up a step to avoid Naythan's point and gain distance from him, giving Naythan crucial seconds to regain his composure and go on the offensive.

Naniren
Naniren are diminutive and wizened creatures, even those who are young. Their skin is often very pale, almost as in sickness, though exceptions are known to occur in rare and unusual circumstances, most particularly from among those that serve on the surface.
