Bird and Ainge’s Trade Deadline Dialogue
As most NBA fans were drooling over the potential blockbuster trade that almost sent Paul George of the Indiana Pacers to the Boston Celtics, two familiar faces had to have been on multiple phone calls with each other. One more stubborn than myself, and the other pressing hard for what he wanted in return. The result was that absolutely nothing happened, and I was left at 3 p.m. EST feeling slightly cheated of the Twitter storm that could have, and should have happened.

Madison Square Garden Won’t Be Set On Fire Just Yet
Thursday night Frank Ntilikina was selected 8th overall by the New York Knicks. Phil Jackson selected the unknown European player in the lottery for the second time in three years. The first European player in the lottery he selected was Kristaps Porzingis, who was booed on draft night, but is now a fan favorite. Oh, and yeah, Phil Jackson is taking in trade offers about Porzingis right now too. What a great way to piss off already hurting New York fans. That’s one way to get you killed, Phil. For now, as of the 22nd of June, Madison Square Garden and Phil Jackson’s head is safe.

NBA Jersey Ads Are Trash
I hate the idea of having an ad put on the left chest of an NBA jersey. The Boston Celtics have agreed to place a General Electric patch on their sacred uniforms. Of all the NBA teams, I would’ve guessed that the Celtics would resist the patch — until Adam Silver threw down his quiet money-filled hammer to force the Celtics into putting some sort of ridiculous patch on the hallowed Boston jersey.

The Clippers Head East
The Los Angeles Clippers have been looking for a new home in the L.A. area, but what if they moved East instead? What if Steve Balmer decided to move the team to the opposite side of the country in order to actually get past the second round of the playoffs before Chris Paul starts to sizzle down? Where would the Clippers go? Would they still even be named the Clippers?

NBA All Go-To-War TeamTop Story - September 2017
If you’re like me, you enjoy when fights break out in the middle of NBA games. If you were an NBA general manager, and you had to put together a team of NBA players that you would want on your side during a fight, these would be the guys. Ones that can throw haymakers, choke someone out, or if need be, punch a fan. These players would be the All-Stars for a go-to-war team.

Ridiculous, but Possible NBA Trades
People have been talking about trading DeMarcus Cousins for a couple of years now. He’s only signed through the 2017–2018 season, and will proceed to finally be a free agent. Unless, Sacramento decides to trade him, which I see to be highly unlikely because Boogie will either throw a fit about going to the wrong team, or the Kings can’t find the right deal for them.
