Dragons Next Door
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. Then the Thornbushes moved in. The Valley consisted of all kinds of creatures who lived there but this was the first time a dragon family moved in. Fixed Mistakes
Do you wish you had the power to go back in time? To go back and fix one mistake, to say something you should have said or unsaying something you regret? Well I have the power to go back in time. Why am I telling you this? I wanted my side of the story to get out, before it gets twisted like most supernatural stories do.

Uniquely Me
Everyone wants to fit in and be accepted but sometimes it’s hard. I have been on Earth for quit some time. I know the pressures of trying to fit in; of trying to fit a mold. Even growing up in my family I was different and trying to fit in for instance I have red hair and freckles. Being different from my siblings also contributed to trying to break a mold they created in school. My siblings were trouble makers and older than me so going to the same school after them the teachers assumed I was a trouble maker too. I had to prove I was different while still trying to fit in and this was just elementary school.

Troubled Waters
The lake looked clear and inviting, its blue waters rippled ever so slightly as the breeze blew. It was a nice day and it was calling to Claire. She looked out at the water while she sat down on the dock deciding if she wanted to take a swim. Then she heard it, a soft cry. It didn’t sound like anything she heard before. Could be a bird or another form of wildlife she thought. She shrugged her shoulders and stared back across the water. Claire sat there for a while, she didn’t even know what time it was when she stood to leave. She walked back across the dock and heard the cry again, this time it sounded urgent. Claire looked around trying to see where the noise came from when she heard it for the third time. It sounded like it was coming from the waters edge near the trees. She walked over to get a closer look and she saw a flash of yellow eyes near the water. She stood hesitant for a moment then decided to go see what was making the noise.

Shattered Ice
Ice was scattered across the floor, shattered in pieces. The table where the cake sat was turned over on its side. A few chairs knocked over and out of place. People rushed out as soon as the commotion started including Maddie and Chase. Maddie looked around at the mess; today was suppose to be fun and one for the memory books but then it happened…

Up 2 No Good
Blink. Blink. Blink. Blink. That’s what the green light did, it blinked. In this small town there was only one traffic light and all it did was blink. Fred shook his head and moved on through the light. He got here a couple weeks ago to find an antique. Come to find out that antique was worth a lot. So he stuck around to see what other treasures he could find and so far he found nothing. What he needed was to get inside the barn, he was sure there are more goods hidden inside some where. After all that is where the original bull trinkets were found, he just didn’t know where. Fred stopped in the bakery often to try to get Maddie, the owner, to talk to him about the barn. So far though she wasn’t saying anything, maybe he thought he should try the fiancé Chase.

Flowers of Gold
The aisles and walkway were filled with yellow and light orange. Yellow and orange flower petals covered the outside aisles while yellow streamers hung on the chairs and from the rafters. Bouquets of marigold flowers were place around the stage as well as on the food table. For most attending it would seem like a party but then again it wasn’t a typical wedding ceremony.

Surprise Times Three
Nikki unlocked the bakery door and dropped the box on the counter. She wondered what it could be and why it was wrapped in brown paper. It was in her sister Maddie’s name so she would just wait for her to come in. Nikki had been working with her sister for about a month now and she enjoyed it, she even starting learning how to bake. It was easier too because she could bring her daughter Rosie with her. Maddie had been giving Nikki more responsibility around the bakery since she was in charge of the events at the old barn. Things were looking up but Nikki did miss her husband, he was in the military and hasn’t been home for a year. Nikki didn’t lose hope though; she knew he would come home to her and their daughter. Shaking off the sadness she switched the close sign to open and waited for customers.
