The Fascinating Relationship Between the Heart and Brain
The heart possesses an intelligence of its own that's distinct, from the brain. It has an impact on our feelings, thinking, and interpretations. Interestingly the heart has the ability to anticipate and detect our responses to events even before they happen. Scientific research has validated the presence of a system in the heart which transmits a substantial amount of information to the brain impacting how we feel, think and sense things. Enough the heart actually sends signals to the brain than vice versa. This fascinating phenomenon is often referred to as the " brain in the heart " which comprises neurons of both short term and long-term memory as well as possessing extensive sensory capabilities. The communication between the heart and brain occurs in manner. As we experience emotions throughout our day our heart rhythm patterns tend to mirror our state. These patterns are closely monitored by centers in the brain that interpret them as feelings such, as fear, anger, joy or appreciation. When we are burdened with stress, worry, impatience or overwhelmed with information or indecision it disrupts our hearts rhythm leading to irregularity and chaos. This disorder then interferes with our system causing disruptions or "noise" that desynchronize neurons in our brain.

How to Change Your Reality
The continuous exchange of communication between our mind and body creates a collection of emotional states with one particular state usually being the default or prevailing feeling. This dominant feeling state aligns with our frequency, which is determined by repeatedly thinking and experiencing the same thoughts and emotions over many years. Sometimes this default state may not be desirable or in line with how we want to feel or what we truly want to attract into our lives.

You Are Not Your Thoughts
I want to discuss the significance of stories and how our brains reward us for completing the narratives we create to navigate through life. To make sense of things we often construct stories, about ourselves and the world we live in. Stories follow a pattern with a beginning, middle and end which our brains recognize. It feels rewarding when we have clarity about this structure. Like a song needs an ending or resolution for us to enjoy it an ended movie can leave us feeling confused and unsatisfied because there's no closure or clear resolution for the characters. Research indicates that our brains release dopamine when we recognize and complete patterns. We naturally seek meaning so if there are gaps, in the stories we tell ourselves we tend to fill them in order to complete the pattern. For instance imagine you bought a shirt that you're not entirely comfortable wearing but decide to wear it
