Poet Community, Meet Your New Best Friend
Hey Y'all, I'll keep it short and sweet. If you're a poet on Vocal, and you're also frustrated with how we have to personally maintain our stanzas with an asterisk or some other character to avoid our poems becoming one big stanza, this is for you. Here's a lovely work around I've discovered for you to get that perfect blank space in between your stanzas.

Isolation
Her lover was like a beautiful rose that climbed up her throat, thorns nailing her tongue. Being with him was like being in a train wreck, a beautiful disaster that only snowballed, picking up debris along the way. Any small deviation from his valued idea of “perfection” only roused his anger, and she was the one to suffer. But it was only natural with the way that he was escalating that he would derail sooner or later, taking their world with him.

Accretion
Something pulled him to Alyxander, something primal and instinctual that was beyond sexual attraction. All he knew is that they felt like two magnets flying towards one another across a great distance. Their joining would be destructive but it was all they wanted. Raw, dark curiosity drove him, dangerous in this form.
