Hey Y'all,
I'll keep it short and sweet.
If you're a poet on Vocal, and you're also frustrated with how we have to personally maintain our stanzas with an asterisk or some other character to avoid our poems becoming one big stanza, this is for you. Here's a lovely work around I've discovered for you to get that perfect blank space in between your stanzas.
Copy what is in between quotations below and paste that in between your stanzas. When you post your poem, it will have stanzas separated as lovely as can be!
Unicode Character “⠀” (U+2800)
Example of it at work:

So glad you shared this! There is also such a thing as a blank or invisible character, which you can achieve by typing "alt" + spacebar on an apple computer. This is literally like a space, but codes differently, and gets around Vocal's auto formatting stuff, so you can indent and add spaces between words and paragraphs too! Credit to Andrei Z for sharing that lovely hack.
BLESS YOU!
Oh good hack! Thanks for pointing this out. I enjoy doing my readings but I feel like there's so much pressure to get my rhythm right with the lack of formatting options for poetry. Thanks again!
