The Yoga Of Sound
The Yoga Of Sound: Pilgrimage to Tamil Nadu This was a new type of school. I read that it was supposed to combine spirituality and spiritual practice with social justice. I guess that’s why I wasn’t surprised to find myself far away from home in Oakland CA at the University of Creation Spirituality in a doctoral program doing movement and prayer early in the morning, taking a class on Evil--What it is and Where it Comes From, mid morning, and studying Nada Yoga in the afternoon.

And Then I Was Alone
And Then I Was Alone John W. Gilmore “Who are you?” I asked through narrowed lids. I couldn’t believe it. I had climbed to the mountain top step by step, slowly one step after the other, and was exhausted. On the top of Mt. Washington it was cold. Forty mile per hour winds were blowing around me, threatening to sweep me off into a horrible death. It was 20 below zero, and here she was. A strange looking woman just standing there, at the peak, in a tee-shirt and jeans, with her hands on her hips. Her hair was hardly blowing.

The Infiltration Game
The Infiltration Game John W. Gilmore Science Can Save The Day -- Chapter 1 I slid the new laser charge pack into my rifle as I answered. “Well Jerome, we all want peace, don’t we?” I lifted the rifle and looked through the sight to make sure it was all set for the upcoming battle. “But we don’t really have that choice now, do we? The women have gone crazy.”

Two Conversations
Two Conversations: We missed each other John W. Gilmore It is my turn to speak at Sunday Meeting. It's always interesting, but I am sure I can find something better to do on such a beautiful day. As a volunteer I lead Dharma talks once a month at the temple and am labeled a Dharma Master, which is interesting. All I do, however, is just meditate and speak. It all seems to flow. Today we will have a mixture of members and expats who are thinking of making their new home in Panama. You never know who to expect there. I begin to speak by telling my story.

I Was A Robot
I Was A Robot--Amazing! John W. Gilmore “I love to listen to the sound of silence sometimes so at 3AM I sit on the back porch and look up at the stars. We don’t have that much humidity here. The days are hot and every evening the temperature drops to almost 60 degrees. The sky is cloudless at night. Millions of stars and planets stand out against the darkness and every so often we get a chance to see that beautiful, full moon. But the full moon isn’t for everyone, is it?” I looked at my subject and leaned back in my chair.

The Legacy
The Legacy: Living on Eggshells John W. Gilmore “I can’t imagine being anywhere else, can you?” She asked, large brown eyes blinking, sitting in front of the TV watching Star Search 2550. “There are bad things going on in the world...horrible. I’ll admit that,” she said, “but you have to learn to roll with the punches sometimes. Tim, your problem is that you aren’t rolling.” She pointed the remote at the TV and began to click through channels. She paused and looked at me. “Roll Dear. You better roll because you really don’t have a choice.”

We Fell Down
We Fell Down And Got Saved? John W. Gilmore I climbed up the steep incline. There were large boulders, loose gravel, and paths slanted on tight angles that could send me sliding down into the ravine 100ft below. Why was I doing this? I guess I wanted freedom. They said they were here...the last few humans left after the Artificial Life Form (ALF) takeover, living like animals among the rocks and stones. I took a few more steps until I found a very small crack in the side of the cliff. I felt sick and tired. It had been a three day journey. I pushed my way in and collapsed to the floor.
