'Midsommar' Movie Preview
Young director Ari Aster sprang onto the scene with 2018's Hereditary, a genuinely scary horror film that was one of the years most talked about. What made it even more of an achievement was that Hereditary was his feature debut after a few short films: The Strange Thing About The Johnsons (2011) and Munchausen (2013).

Top New Fantasy Shows to Replace 'Game of Thrones'
1. 'Lord of the Rings'—Amazon One Stream to Rule Them All It is a simple and true enough statement that if there was no original Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings trilogy, there would be no Game of Thrones to follow in its wake. LOTR presented epic fantasy on the big screen (for the first time) in a way that was critically and commercially successful to a degree not seen until the rise of GOT. But why go back to this franchise when the films have already been made, including Jackson's less successful take on The Hobbit, they did not need to be that long!

'Dune' 2021 Preview
Frank Hebert's seminal and much-loved opus is finally getting a remake the source material deserves. For those unfamiliar with the classic story imagine Dune as an intergalactic Game of Thrones crossed with Star Wars, where young Paul Atreides and his family is targeted by an evil galactic emperor and Paul becomes the leader of the Fremen a group of native rebels where both sides fight over control of the ‘spice’ an element only found on the planet Arrakis. It is an addictive substance that makes space travel possible and remember ‘He who controls the spice controls the universe,’ and it also has giant sandworms.

'Halloween' (2018) Review and a Brief History of the Franchise
David Gordon Green's Halloween is now the third film in the series to have the same title and also not the first film in the franchise to disregard direct sequels as well, but before we get to the new film we need a short recap on the film's history.
