Ubiquity
This Was Going To Be A Poem This is a poem about addressing a dark issue in me. I really don’t rate myself because for a lot of my life people just assume that everything is perfect for me, resulting in sometimes people actually attacking me and making me a scapegoat for failures by others. I have always come through these things, although it is hard work. I know that I am not the only one in that situation

Diamonds In The Dark
Diamonds In The Dark “Diamonds In The Dark” is a flower given to me as an inspiration for a poem by Rachel Jordan. I will include the picture of the flower but this is just a stream of consciousness inspired by the words “Diamonds In The Dark”

Why I Am Fine With Wordle. Top Story - February 2022.
Wordle I have been avoiding Wordle for the same reason I avoided Led Zeppelin as a teenager, everybody was into them and I just didn’t want to be another face in the crowd. I suppose that is just the way I am , I seldom go with the flow which means i am often seen as weird or unconventional resulting in people being either frightened of me or shunning me.

A Vocal Fairy Tale
When I started on Vocal I wasn’t so sure what would happen. Since joining the Vocal Facebook groups I have received so much encouragement and love and so much interaction, that I wake up every morning amazed that I am still here, admired, loved, and appreciated.

February Black History Month
Why is February called Black History Month? In an effort to make it official in 1976, President Ford named February "Black History Month" in a commemorative speech. In the speech, he urged Americans to "seize the opportunity to honour the too-often neglected accomplishments of Black Americans in every area of endeavour throughout our history."

Your Favourite David Bowie Album Today
I have been a fan of David Bowie since I first heard “Space Oddity” in the late 1960s and I have enjoyed his music since then. Prior to “Space Oddity '' he had been a rhythm and blues singer in David Jones and The Lower Third but changed his name to Bowie to avoid confusion with Davey Jones of The Monkees.

The Clock Goes Backwards
4:30 PM Time to start getting things wrapped up. No more meetings, the network is being a bit slow, these new systems were meant to make our jobs easier and more productive, but we just spend our time rustling up work arounds to deliver what we need to do. We seem to spend more time doing that than our excellent job.

How To Become A Millionaire Writing On Vocal
How To Make A Fortune Writing On Vocal Last week I wrote a story that was published on Vocal and over the course of three days, it had over a thousand reads. Given that I seldom get more than five or six reads for my posts this was a bit of a shock.
