Art, Martin Swoboda, and Black Lives Matter
For some, especially for Martin Swoboda, his art reflects a sophisticated insight into the Black Live Matter movement within the United States and Europe. He has taken a brave stance, using his creativity and boldness to challenge our preconceptions of race and its place in the world today. He also pushes back against the status quo of racial injustice that permeates the fabric of our society and judicial systems.

The Things We Don't Talk About in the Light
It took a lot of thought and balls to write this and even more to finally post this for the world to see. At times, I feel like any anxiety or depression I feel isn’t worth talking about or not worth it as I see others who have it worse. Tackling this part of me to ask or seek help is the hardest. Like most men, many of us see it as a sign of weakness and not one of strength.

The Clockmaker
The Clockmaker In the faraway kingdom of Tempus, there lived a young clockmaker named Simon. He filled his shop with wondrous clocks, watches, and other magnificent timepieces to dazzle the mind. Every day you could find him in the back of his shop, tinkering away on his newest project, utterly unaware of how little business he had. Occasionally, someone from the city would come in and have him fix a clock, but those times were few.

The Thief's Gambit
Garren swung his rope and hook high and laughed as the hook found purchase in the stone below the sorceress’ tower window. Dalmar, Master of the Thieves Guild in Valter, assured him that Shara, the sorceress and advisor to the king, would be gone. That meant her treasure would be his. At least some of it as the guild insisted on their split being the larger cut.
