No More Skipping; pt 3
Dinner was silent, except for the clinking of silverware and occasional crunch of food. Salad, broccoli, and lasagna. At least her stepfather knew how to cook? Jericho finished up after Sam, and she gathered up their plates to bring to the kitchen. She rinsed the plates in the sink before settling them into the dishwasher. She bristled as he came up behind her, whispering in her ear. “Clean up, then meet me downstairs. I’m not finished with you yet.”

No More Skipping; pt 2
Welp, she had gone and done it again. Jericho had skipped school, again, and now she had to answer to her step father. She had promised not to do it again, but she hadn’t been feeling well. Of course, it might have had something to do with being majorly hungover, but meh, she didn’t really want to admit that. But, could you blame her? She sighed, shaking her head as she turned off her car. She looked at her keys with a frown, knowing she was likely going to lose them as part of her punishment. She thought about just running away, but all of her stuff was at home. Nope, running away wasn’t an option. She needed to face the consequences like an adult, whatever that meant.

When Wolves Can't Sleep
Dane couldn’t sleep. He couldn’t sleep and he didn’t want to. DIdn’t want to face the nightmares that had plagued him the last five nights in a row. It wasn’t fair. He hadn’t gotten good sleep in over a month, and it was taking its toll on him. He was snappy, crabby for no reason. He had yelled at Shawn just for asking if he was okay. Poor Shawn. He’d had a deer in the headlights look, not expecting the outburst at such a simple question. But it wasn’t simple, was it? It wasn’t that easy.

The Play Party; pt 2
Nadia and Sir had finished their scene, but Nadia was still a touch nervous. Nothing at all like she had been initially, but definitely still nervous. Hopefully, the next few rooms would make the rest of her anxieties disappear. She hadn’t felt any of the fear while in subspace, but that was normal. It was unfortunate that it had come back, but it was what it was and couldn’t be helped.

No More Skipping
Jericho was in troubled waters, that was for sure. Her step dad was expecting her report card today and she was practically failing all of her classes. This wasn't good. It wasn’t good and it wasn’t okay. She took a breath, shoving her report card into her backpack and hopping into her car. It was a bit of a clunker, but her parents had gotten it for her for her 18th birthday, so she couldn't complain. It was all they could afford, and she was lucky they had decided to get her a car in the first place. She paid her own insurance on it with money from her job. She worked as a cashier at a nearby gas station. Technically, school was close enough to walk, but she preferred to drive, and why wouldn’t she? I mean, she did have her own car.

Angel and Tahlia
There had always been tension between Angel and Tahlia. Always an air of suspicion or a lingering glance that had all the wrong intentions. It wasn’t anything malicious, but they had gotten into fights before. Arguments. There was even a fist fight back in the day, but that issue had long since been resolved.

The Play Party
Nadia was nervous. More than nervous, actually. She’d never been to a play party before, but here Sir had talked her into performing at one. Yikes. She had no idea how many people were going to be watching. She didn’t mind a bit of exhibitionism at times, but she still had a bit of stage fright. Crowds already made her nervous.
