Living with PCOS
Four letters changed my life forever. PCOS: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. It is a simple diagnosis really, the symptoms are what get you. My symptoms include but are not limited to ; infertility(For now), cysts on the ovaries that can rupture at any time causing a longer, more painful period, testosterone levels so high that I am able to grow facial hair at the same rate as my brother, extreme weight gain (imagine going from a size S to a size XL in what feels like overnight), borderline diabetes, and last but not least excessive mood swings.

Forbidden Fruit
“Never eat the fruit that this tree bears! Not if I tell you, not if a friend dares.” Uncle Will began ominously after adjusting his seat near the fireplace. Willam Rhodenson was the twins, Justice and Juniper’s, favorite uncle. He was a self proclaimed adventurer who sampled every culture and any religion. Although they loved him very much, they were surprised that their parents let him chaperone their makeshift camp sleepover. Uncle Will was believed to be crazy and after he almost drove his car into the nearest lake looking for Atlantis, the twins' father had him committed. Tonight he seemed so different and rid of all those burdens he used to carry. Even though it was a welcome change, Justice thought it was from therapy and Juniper thought it was medication.

The Trial of Kendra Adams
Chapter One “Who’s that?” A beautiful woman with cafe au lait skin walked in the room. She set her briefcase down and began talking to Giordan. I studied her closely. Her long hair was in a sleek ponytail and she wore a black and beige dress that frilled in the middle and accentuated her coke bottle figure. She had big brown eyes that were supported with thick false lashes. Her lips were very full and were lined with brown liner and coated with clear gloss. I recognized that technique because My sister had shown me years ago.

Flora’s Family
It was no secret that Casey hated her job. She hated replacing napkins, hated cleaning up and most of all she hated the fake laugh that was basically mandatory after a customer told a joke if she wanted that tip. Flora’s Family was an old 50’s style diner her mother made her work at, complete with tacky uniforms. Apparently it “Built character”, being treated like nothing. Casey could recall numerous times when customers would degrade her (Sometimes because of her mothers ways) and for the sake of her job she would be silent.

The Stitched
“NO!” I jolted upwards clutching my heart, it was beating so hard ,I thought it would jump right out of my shirt. It was a horrible dream , a recurring nightmare that I just couldn't seem to shake. In the dream I am being chased, but instead of the usual faceless creatures, they all had the features of my loved ones.
