Bio
I was born in New York and raised in South Florida. I enjoy writing as a hobby and a means to transmit knowledge and wisdom obtained over the years. I love animals - they're better than humans. I can't stand it when people are late.

Should Have Stayed Home
I've been on a decent number of dates and I would say that the majority of them went decently well. Even if we decided not to go forward with a relationship, the date was always pretty good, for the most part. Except for one. Truth be told, I can't even remember the guy's name. (It was so bad, I didn't bother committing it to memory!) For sake of argument, let's call him Tom.

A More Complicated Butterfly
What makes a woman a woman? How does she know when she is separated from the girls? When is it okay to call her "hot" or "beautiful" instead of "cute" or "pretty"? Is it her age? When she gets her period or loses her virginity? Has she reached "womanhood" when she has to shave her legs? Maybe it's when she is treated like a woman instead of a girl? Maybe it's when she looks in the mirror and realizes it for herself? When she looks back on her life thus far, analyzing every scenario, hardship, and triumph, only to realize that she is no longer a little girl? Or, maybe it's not one of these things, but more than one? Or none of them at all? It all depends on the girl transforming into a woman. Girls are not caterpillars who spin their cocoons for a set amount of time to emerge a marvelous, transformed butterfly. We are much more complex than that. And I am no exception.

Untrue Love (Part Three: B)
I must relay a disclaimer before I continue. My time with Damion may have been short-lived, but it was all over the place. Meaning that many of my memories are not in order or have holes in them. Having said that, if I jump around a little, that is why. Let's continue.

Why Frozen Should Melt
This is the worst Disney movie to come out of the studio since Home on the Range in 2004. Disney had a nine-year run of good movies. Enter Frozen=Crap. But people LOVE it! They can't get enough of it. Why? Beats me. Tangled and Brave—two other princess movies that proceeded Frozen—were a million times better! So, where did Frozen go wrong?

Fat Girl Vs. Beautiful Girl
Being fat — No... having fat makes you "fat" and therefore I am a "fat girl" and have been all my life — or so I was told. It's not as much fun being the "big girl" as it is being the "big guy," for one is a compliment while to the other is considered "polite." This is a prose poem about Fat Girl.

One Blanket to Rule Them All
I'd never contemplated this question or issue until about a month ago; when sleeping with a partner, is it better to use one shared blanket or two separate? From my research, I found positives and negatives for both, but they almost always come out even. That being said, I suppose it depends on the couple and should be tackled on a case-by-case basis. That being said, in the case of my boyfriend and I, I would have to say the pros for sharing a blanket far outweigh the cons.

Untrue Love (Part Two)
I had left off with Mark, my ex-fiance and high school sweetheart. The story was rather morbid, possibly leading you, the reader, to believe that our relationship was all bad. It really wasn't. He had some redeeming qualities and we had a lot of good times. So before I dive into the Part Two and start telling you about Blake, I want to share some positive qualities about Mark.

Writing the Right Way
We are exposed to words and letters every day. Even if you never leave your home you still come in contact with some form of writing. When you take a shower, there is writing on your shampoo, body wash, conditioner, etc. If you walk into the kitchen. Oh...that's a landmine of words, sentences, phrases, and slogans! If this is a skill that we come in contact with every day (and use more now than ever with email and text messaging), why can nobody do it correctly?
