Bran woke from the comfort of a padded back. First, it was the hair sprouting from Ursus’collar and tickling Bran’s nose that woke him. Then, it was the sound of a low grumble. Ursus breathed as if screws tumbled about in his grungy mouth. Despite being woken up it made Bran laugh a little.

July 3rd Day two. Times up. The cowboy fought hard. Searched long. Came up unsuccessful. Cotton strands formed around his cracked lips. He clicked his tongue. Nothing to swallow. His hat collected sweat and dirt. He wore a barbwire necklace. In silence, he cursed his protruding adam's apple that was taking abuse from the sharp barbs. A cylinder, metal container was wrapped in the wire like a homemade crystal necklace. It ticked softly.

All I had to do was not correct the wheel. ‘Poetic Justice.’ I thought The blinding lights from the Semi Truck filled the space of my tiny windshield just before I swerved. The truck passed like a bull plowing through the streets of Madrid. Sitting water jumped from the road and submerged my car.

Heels Another anxious night, Jacob must spend alone. Melancholy, and not looking forwards to restless joints in a bed without a bedframe. A pillow overdue for the dumpster. And the insistent sound of buzzing in the walls. He does, however, finally have something to look forward to when he goes to turn out his lights. Something curious, Something sublime and something ghostly satisfying to heavy his eyes into finally resting.
