At The End
It’s strange how quickly life seems to fly by. One moment you’re a child, innocent and playing in the dirt, and then suddenly you’re an adult with responsibilities and obligations. In the blink of an eye, you’re old, waiting for your grandchildren to visit you. It’s strange how my mind continually wanders to my mother.

The End
Rachel squinted as she looked up at the sky. It was painfully bright. People bustled around her, panic in the air. She stood still amongst the chaos; she knew she was safe. She knew she wouldn’t be left behind on this dying planet. Her brown hair blew across her face in the hot breeze, and she glanced around the crowd, eyes focusing on what they were all here to see. A spaceship was several meters ahead of her. It looked like something out of the old sci-fi movies. Sleek and clean, but capable of leaving this galaxy behind.

Top 5 Romance K-Dramas on Netflix
1. Boys Over Flowers Boys Over Flowers Boys Over Flowers caught my attention early in my K-Drama watching days. I loved the concept of a poor girl going to a fancy school and being caught up in 'rich boy drama'. It delved into more plot points than I thought, such as love triangles, social stigma, overcoming boundaries and parental expectation. I found myself incredibly invested in the characters and loved all 25 episodes! Definitely a bingeable show!

I Wish I Could Tell You
Hey Mom, I never told you this. I’m pregnant. I was going to tell you weeks ago, but I was never able to. You were snatched from us far too soon. I remember the day like it was yesterday. You were coming over to my house, ready for a mom and daughter date. But you never arrived. I waited for hours, but you never showed. It wasn’t until the hospital called that I knew why you were late. Why you were never going to show.

Hey Mama
Hey Mom, I never told you this before, but I’m the one who broke that window. Yeah, I know. I blamed it on my brother. He was always rowdy, so it was easy to pin the blame on him. While we’re on the subject, I’m also the one who drank your secret wine stash and got that scratch on your car. I know I blamed it all on him, and I did appreciate that you 100% believed me! I guess I just had a trustworthy face. Anyway, I did a lot of stupid things as a teenager. Whenever you asked me who damaged what and so on… it was probably me. I can’t remember everything, but I was a bit wild. I know that you knew I was a bit wild, but I don’t think you knew exactly how wild I was.

10 Tips to Writing at Home
1. Noise Cancelling Headphones These are honestly the best thing I have invested in. I find it’s easier to focus and do my work more effectively when I can’t hear what’s going on around me. I usually put some music on, from my specific writing playlist, and focus on the task at hand. Not being able to hear things around me lets me get into the zone and get writing!

The Hunted
There weren’t always dragons in the valley. Dragons had been extinct for years, and although there used to be dragons roaming the land, the land had been void of them for so long. There weren't always dragons in the valley, until one cold winters day started to change the world as we know it.

Hello
Hello. It's a word you hear all the time. When you see someone new or when you meet up with a friend. When you smile at someone and when you say hello to them. Hello is a common word, something you expect to hear, but sometimes, the way it's said, can be quite unexpected. From time to time, hello can imply so much and yet so little. Sometimes, the person doesn't want to say hello or they're just too eager. Occasionally, hello can be the last thing you hear before you die. Or, it can be the last thing you hear before they die.

I Thought She Was My Friend
It hurt. More than anything had ever hurt before. I never thought that emotions could hurt this much, but apparently, they can. My emotions were mixed and confused. I was angry, sad, heart-broken, and absolutely devastated. I know how corny this sounds, but it felt like my heart had shattered and all the pieces were lost. I didn’t know what to do. My best friend had just taken the guy I’d liked since Grade 8. It wouldn’t be so bad if she didn’t know I liked him, but she knew! She knew! She was the first to know about it! But she still took him from me... She took him...
