2023 Rolls-Royce Phantom
Overview The Rolls-Royce Phantom is the world’s most recognizable symbol of automotive extravagance and status. Its huge waterfall grille and classic upright proportions convey a simple and singular message: wealth goes here. Or maybe royalty. The 2023 Phantom also stands out in the ultimate-luxury car class for its price, which is hundreds of thousands higher than those of rivals such as the Bentley Flying Spur or the Mercedes-Maybach S-class. We can attest to the fact that slipping behind the Phantom’s wheel—better still, into its back seat through its rear-hinged coach doors—will make you feel like a member of the one-tenth-of-one-percent. To the Phantom’s credit, there’s probably not a more comfortable luxury car on the planet. It wafts down the road, floating serenely over pavement imperfections while pampering its passengers with an array of sumptuous interior materials. Meanwhile, its big V-12 engine hums away nearly silently under the Phantom’s long hood, providing effortless power. There’s seemingly no end to the customization opportunities offered by the factory, either. The only thing missing from the options list is a chauffeur, but that feature is sold separately.

Oppo A78 review: Should you spend Rs 18,999 on this 5G smartphone? If we look at the pricing, the Oppo A78 5G competes directly with the Redmi Note 12 5G. While Oppo's new phone offers decent cameras, the display on the Redmi Note 12 5G is much better. In that case, which one should you buy?
5G will become the norm as we move forward. Xiaomi India recently launched three new 5G-enabled smartphones under the Redmi Note 12. Samsung is set to announce multiple devices with 5G connectivity this week. Now, Oppo has unveiled the new Oppo A78 with support for six 5G bands for Rs 18,999.

Three interesting things that we read this week
Three interesting things that we read this week How money and fame ruin modern thinkers [Source: Financial Times] Simon Kuper of Financial Times believes success has ruined many previously excellent writers and thinkers. According to him, while this is an age-old phenomenon, it has got worse in our era. He laments the fact that the best business nowadays is selling to the elite 1%. A caste of pundits has accordingly arisen to supply them with thoughts and talking points. These pundits make decent money themselves, especially on the speakers’ circuit, which according to Mr. Kuper, is now the place where original thinkers go to ‘die’. He exemplifies his points using some case studies:
