How ‘Star Wars’ Failed Padme's Character
If one looks at the story of Star Wars, Padme Amidala is one of the most essential characters in the entire saga, perhaps outside of Leia. Padme and Leia are the emotional foundations in the saga and, in many ways, important players in galactic events. Yet sadly, Padme's importance is never given much agency in the movies. Even some of her expanded material is diminished or outright ignored. A trend that is now only slightly getting reversed, but not enough.

Comrades In Misery - How A Stormtrooper Got Into The Sarlacc Pit
Chapter 1 of The Book of Boba Fett finally answered a question that fans have been wondering either since 1983 or at least since October 30, 2020, when Boba Fett first appeared in The Mandalorian. How did the bounty hunter Fett escape the Sarlacc? The old Expanded Universe had answered this question already back in January of 1996 when Bantam Spectra’s anthology book Tales from Jabba’s Palace included a story called “A Barve Like That: The Tale of Boba Fett.” In this story, Fett made telepathic contact with a being named Susejo, who had fallen into the Great Pit of Carkoon several thousand years ago. While his body was digested, his consciousness slowly merged with that of the Sarlacc. Fett made Susejo/the Sarlacc to contract around his jetpack, causing it to explode. He then used some concussion grenades to free himself from the creature, leaving it badly wounded but still alive, much like himself. The Book of Boba Fett’s “Stranger in a Strange Land” now delivers the official cannon version of how the bounty hunter escaped the slimy innards of the creature. It is not too different from the Legends version. He uses his flamethrower and the oxygen of a deceased Imperial stormtrooper who had also fallen into the pit during the Battle of Carkoon!

Review: ‘The Book of Boba Fett - Chapter 2: The Tribes of Tattooine'
The social media hate of The Book of Boba Fett rocks on. Let's examine something; Boba has a total of about six minutes of screen time in the original trilogy. In The Empire Strikes Back, we know he’s badass because when Darth Vader’s debriefing the bounty hunters about capturing Han Solo and Leia, he says specifically to Boba, “No disintegrations.” Boba’s smart enough to track Han Solo’s ruse of attaching the Millennium Falcon to an Imperial Destroyer, then floating away with the rest of the garbage. On Cloud City, Boba complains that carbonite freezing might kill Han Solo. Darth Vader assures him he’ll be compensated.

Every Character Who Could Make A Live-Action Debut In ‘Book of Boba Fett’
Boba Fett is one Star Wars character that has been known to cross paths with several other characters in the galaxy far, far away. Now, Boba Fett has his own book series and it is interesting to ponder who he will be seen crossing paths with next. Boba Fett himself is just returning to the Star Wars saga. As all Star Wars fans are familiar with, Boba Fett made a live-action appearance in Season 2 of The Mandalorian. The Star Wars saga itself is making a big appearance on streaming platform Disney+. This leads to the fanbase’s expectations of seeing many different Star Wars characters returning in The Book of Boba Fett. With the first two chapters of The Book of Boba Fett portraying flashbacks of Boba Fett’s life, it is exciting to see what other characters Boba Fett may encounter along the way.
