Joel McNeely And The Music Of 'Shadows Of The Empire'
The mid-1990s saw the return of 3 3/4" Star Wars action figures. New comic books and novels were hitting book stores worldwide. The Star Wars Special Editions once again reigned supreme at movie theaters across the country. Star Wars was back in a huge way, and it has not slowed down twenty-five years later. Among the onslaught of Star Wars merchandise was something Lucasfilm had never attempted before or since: the multimedia project known as Shadows of the Empire, the movie without a movie.

New Concept Art Shows The Deleted Kylo Ren Storyline From 'The Rise Of Skywalker'
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is a divisive addition to the Skywalker Saga. While that statement could be said about any film in the sequel trilogy, The Rise of Skywalker seems to have left the worst taste in fans’ mouths. It is also no secret that the film was marred by several production problems. The film went through two directors and multiple rewrites of the script, and they had to piece together Leia’s role in the movie based on unused footage of Carrie Fisher. Needless to say, there was a lot that did not make the final cut of the film. That is apparent in the unreleased new concept art for the film.

Plot Details For Rian Johnson's Reboot Sequel Trilogy Leaked
Only hours after the rumor site Inside Star Wars revealed one of the biggest surprises in the history of cinema that Disney more or less forced (no pun intended) Kathleen Kennedy and Lucasfilm to produce a new sequel trilogy to be written and directed by Rian Johnson, the group landed their next coup. They discovered several files (probably on the same backup server where they found the e-mail to Kennedy by Disney CEO Bob Chapek and Alan Bergman), which seem to include the second draft of Johnson's screenplay for the new Episode VII, as well as outlines for Episodes VIII, and IX.

'Star Wars' Announces Rian Johnson To Return To Remake The Sequel Trilogy
Back in November of 2017, roughly one month before the release of The Last Jedi, Lucasfilm announced that Rian Johnson would create a new Star Wars trilogy, separate from the Skywalker saga, introducing “new characters from a corner of the galaxy that Star Wars lore has never before explored.” While The Last Jedi was critically acclaimed for, according to Rotten Tomatoes, “honoring the saga's rich legacy while adding some surprising twists,” the movie created a rift among Star Wars fans after its release, mainly for the way Luke Skywalker, the hero of the original trilogy (1977 – 1983) was treated. Its successor The Rise of Skywalker, written and directed by J. J. Abrams, was not able to extinguish these dumpster fires with a halfhearted return of Emperor Palpatine and the revelation that Rey, the heroine of the new trilogy was actually his granddaughter.
